Works great at bonding Marco rocks with a sand filler together
Starbond Super Fast Thin CA Glue is an outstanding adhesive, especially for detailed projects and creative DIY tasks. I recently used this product to bond Marco Rocks aquascaping project, inspired by techniques I saw in YouTube videos, and the results were exceptional.Quick Bonding Time: The glue sets in seconds, making it perfect for creating stable rock structures quickly. When paired with Marco Rocks sand, the glue forms an incredibly solid and natural-looking bond.Thin Viscosity: Its ultra-thin consistency allows it to seep into porous materials like Marco Rocks and sand, ensuring strong adhesion without excess buildup. This feature is particularly useful when creating realistic aquascapes with smooth transitions between rocks.Aquarium-Safe: After curing, the glue is safe for aquatic environments. It doesn’t harm fish, corals, or other marine life, making it a great option for reef tanks and freshwater aquariums.Inspired by YouTube tutorials, I experimented with sprinkling Marco Rocks sand over the glue to fill gaps and create a natural finish between rock pieces. The glue’s thin viscosity allowed it to bond the sand seamlessly, resulting in a strong and realistic structure

This is a serious CA Glue - don't underestimate it. Can't live without it now.
I've been using CA of different manufacturers for close to 3 decades - typically the stuff I'd get at the reputable hobby stores like Hobbytown and other local R/C shops. I've used the gap filling and medium mostly and occasionally the thin - usually with mediocre results regardless of the prep. It was probably 50% me, 50% the glue quality. But the glue always turned syrupy after a month or two no matter how cleanly I kept it stored.I decided to try this thin stuff with baking soda as a gap filler (yep - internets) and also wanted some that would penetrate breaks and hopefully make a solid bond. Picked up this Star Bond with a little hesitation over the price. Sometimes I'm cheap but lots of woodworkers I know swear by it.What I found is that this stuff is awesome if you can be patient, use the small tips and use sparingly. Not only does it set quickly, hold like I always thought CA should and wick; but it takes so much less glue to do it. I got the accelerator aerosol and this kit and it came with 5 micro tips and a tip-cleaner and regular cap. The tips are super useful since it's water thin. I had a tendency to over apply at first, making a little bit of a mess of things. The micro tips can be cleaned out, too, by carefully tapping the bottom on a folded paper towel once you’re removed them from the bottle. Wear gloves and eye protection. This stuff WILL glue you to anything if you’re not careful. The accelerator works well, too. I ALWAYS used Zip-kicker until now with the horrible pump that either put out too little or too much. The fine mist kicks the glue evenly and doesn’t yellow my work. It also doesn't leave a weird chemical banana smell in the workshop. My only non-5-star rating was ease of use because if you’re not used to the water-thin stuff, you will have a learning curve. Not knocking the product, but just setting a warning flag for others.

I would stay away from this product
EDIT:. The company was kind enough to send me a free sample of their gel consistency which is what is prompting me to edit this review. I was extremely harsh in my first review. Now that I've had the product for a few months I can safely suggest that you give this brand a try. Here are the things that caused me to change my opinion.1. The thin consistency is marketed as a thin consistency. And they offer any consistency for your particular need.2. using their gel consistency which does not run at all. which means you can literally get every consistency from "watery" to "unmoving" but with commercial products in the store you can only get 2. gel and original.I would appreciate them Adding the words "watery" or "Flows like Water" or something to explain just how watery the thin consistency is. But I believe Being watery is intended and should be considered a feature. And I have to admit it's easy once you learn the technique of applying it,Now that I've been able to to try the gel, Which does not move I recommend the product. At this point I would say they deserve a five star review but below is the reason I can only go four starsHere are the downsidesgloves are mandatory (in my opinion).I also Recommend you keep them in the plastic box They come in just to ensure they don't stick anything when not in. use.I also don't want to learn how to properly apply it. it's glue. it shouldn't need a curriculum. The fine tips that they offer and include are basically use once and throwaway because they're clogged at that pointI still don't understand why they need to make a new batch every month so my guess is it's due to shelf lifeThe fact that they want me to store this In my refrigerator or some other place where it's below 40°F is almost laughable. It could be due to the watery consistency or it could be due to the shelflife or it could be both. Either way it's concerning. It might not be as strong as the commercial options. It's hard for me to tell because I haven't done a one-to-one comparison. But it does set Pretty quick which I appreciate.Original review is below and should ***NOT*** be considered in your decisionI really wanted to like this product but even when I pick up the bottle there's still like residue that has some somehow escaped the bottle while it's sitting upright. My gloves stick to it every single time I touch itIt says on the product packaging a "fresh batch is made every month to ensure shelf life"If i had to guess they need to make a new batch every month because this product probably has a terrible shelf life. It's watery.., beyond watery. It pours out like water. It's barely usable because it runs so horriblyIt says on the packaging that a learning curve is required to apply glue properly... no. This product is like dumping water.. LITERALLY LIKE SQUIRTING WATER and then hoping you can set the bottle down before it sticks to your hand, and before the applied glue runs off the surface and glues your other hand. But have no fear, because it probably overshot the surface anyway. The packaging says to store it below "40°F". 🤔 so water freezes at 32°... so store it in my freezer? 😂edit end of original reviewI'm going to suggest you try this company and try this glue. Just make sure you don't get the watery consistency unless that is exactly what you want.

Works great
Works great. Very thin. Holds great. I mostly use this on guitar frets that start to pull away from the fretboard, and for guitar nut replacement.

Great stuff
I use this primarily to affix turquoise granules to flaws in my wood turnings, speficantly to fill beetle bore and cracks. Works great, and firmly holds the granules in place.
