Excellent outdoor shower for the cockpit or aft deck
This replaces exactly the same shower that has been in use for over a decade. The plastic on the frame cracked on the corners after 10 years and we had to replace the shower hose - the one sold with this shower is too short and it does not coil well in the cabinet behind the shower - and it hardens with age or kinks. We replaced it with a stainless coil - covered shower hose 2m long. That required some plastic surgery to get one end through the shower but once done it works perfectly and looks great. So plan on finding a replacement shower hose at the hardware store before you install it. Also need to get right angle guest fittings for the feed tubes (hot and cold). We used 15mm Guest hoses and fittings.

Perfect fit for my old shower on a Hunter.
I needed to replace my existing Whale shower that was 22 years old. The hose was worn. It is nice to have a white door instead of faded white.One discovery I found is that the handset does have a rotating on/off spray adjustment. Just rotate it. This was not documented from what I read. A great feature.

Replacement of an item purchased long ago

It Leaks!
I purchased this item a few months ago and we just got it installed only to find it leaks! We like the product and it fits and looks great but there is a constant drip on the deck and we cannot get it to stop. We have to shut off the water at the valve, which is very inconvenient and it renders the unit unusable. I would like to contact the seller to see if there is something they can do to resolve the issue but they are not accessible to me so I would NOT recommend anyone purchase from this seller. My husband is a contractor and installed it correctly so it is a defect in the product.

Quality shower easy install
The plastic is thicker than most other transum showers I compared. I replaced a 20 year old shower with this one.

No mounting gasket
Is an exact replacement for my Lagoon Cat but there was no mounting gasket for the flange to body channel on the case. Would be nice if this was included.
