Lifesavers & Great for Hiking
This is my second round of these and I absolutely love them!As a person who loves to travel, hike, and take my dogs everywhere - these come in handy. I always carry them in my hiking bag, in the car, and leave them with my doggy water bottles. They fold really tightly and stay wet/cool for a long period of time. The only thing is that I wish they came in other colors as the design of them is effective. These are a staple for all people wanting to cool down, I also use them on my dogs and tie them lightly around their necks to keep cool. Perfect!

Plain old scarfs
When you wet, these scarves are supposed to activate the beads inside and help maintain fluid and moisture to keep you cool actually they’re just plain old scarves. There’s not enough to activate anything. Very disappointing product.

Not as good as I expected
These cooling wraps are what I was looking for but the quality is lacking. They are filled with gel beads that absorb water and increase in size. Unfortunately, there are not enough of these beads to fill out the length of the wrap so they are lopsided and do not create the cooling effect throughout. I used this type of neck wrap years ago and they were fantastic, but these are a poor imitation of what I had back then. I would not recommend this product.

Very cooling / Needs instructions!
These cooling scarves are a lifesaver for someone like me who has serious issues with heat and sunshine. Once you get them ready to use there’s no problem — just take care of them properly. Do not freeze them. You will shorten their life.Unfortunately, there are no English instructions. The way they work is that they have water absorbing beads sewn inside the middle section.Plan ahead before you want to use them. It takes a little time to get them started. When you get them, take them out and put them in water. It takes some time for them to absorb all the water that’s necessary the first time. You need to monitor the adsorption in stages. The little square areas at each end of the divided section in the middle are where most of the beads are. When they start to absorb the water, you need to gently coax them down the channels that are separated by stitching in the middle. They won’t do it by themselves, and if you don’t push them along, the end sections get so tightly filled that the gel is forced to seep out of the fabric. You don’t want that stuff directly on your skin or in your eyes, and if it starts to seep through, you lose cooling strength and time, and you’re shortening their life. This may sound a little complicated but it’s really not. Once you break them in, they will absorb, cool and work well. As you wear them and coolness is diminished, just wet again them with cold water. At that point the already moist gel takes in new/cooler moisture quickly. After use and they dry out, the re-absorption doesn’t take as long as the first time to complete. Just make sure the beads distribute properly.Around your neck AND forehead gets the best results if you are very heat-sensitive, but one or the other is still a BIG help! 😀

Works well for cooling.
Works well on hot days. I wet the bandanas and then store in the fridge- the beads inside stay hydrated and ready to use for walks or work on hot days.

Not really useable
There are too many of the gel pieces in each band causing them to go straight and rigid. Also, because it's rigid, it doesn't feel cool to the touch and it's hard to tie it around the neck. I wouldn't buy this again and am going to have to search for a better brand.

Makes working outside in the heat much more bearable
They worked so good at making it feel much cooler than the thermometer said, I had to remind myself to take enough breaks to cool my body down and hydrate. I also had a lot more energy when I was done for the day. And by the way, I am 62, pouring concrete and setting block in 95 degree heat. I wouldn't have lasted have as long without these. I'm a total believer. You just have to remember it's still hot out so you still need the breaks and plenty of water.
