Been chopping through brush since I got it, works great

it is very sharp and easy to cut whatever you want, but handle is too large and not comfortable to hold. it even hart my hand when working with it. also sheath has been cut soon after use.

I was excited about getting this because it just looks mean. Once I received it I discovered the handle is too thick and blocky. Using this for a quick job is fine but I could see where it would cripple my hand after a long period of chopping due to the handle. The weight feels good and the blade was sharp. The sheath looks well made but I can see that nothing on the inside will stand up to repeated sheathing and unsheathing as mine is brand new and upon trying to sheath the machete it got caught up and as I was trying to work with it the tip came thru the seam and stabbed my finger all the way to the bone. So when I say it is sharp, I am not kidding. I was barely using any force, now there is a nice hole in the seam of my sheath. I think the strap was perfectly placed as when I have it over the shoulder it sits comfortably and in perfect position as the handle sits right on the shoulder for easy unsheathing. So other than the handle and quality of the sheath it is a decent buy.

The first time I used it was yesterday. I bought it several weeks ago . Within 10 chops the bland came apart! It was a three inch sapling that destroyed the blade. Can I send it back to be prepared?

just a rule of thumb, if you want a machete to be pretty shiney and intimidating, and dont plan of actually using it on weeds brush or small limbs, this is your knife, STAINLESS STEEL is only good for looks and chopping away at zombies... if you want a real good working machete look for CARBON STEEL!!!
