It does what it says and it does it well.
I'm not sure why there are so many mixed reviews for this product. Most of the reviews are old and I feel as though they may have been for a different product - specifically referring to the review stating the pump turns on immediately when connected to the vehicle battery. Just to be clear, this unit does not do that. This is the Bravo BTP12, a.k.a. the Bravo Manometer, according to Bravo's website. It has an "on" button and a separate "off" button, so it does not turn on until the "on" button is pressed. This kit does not come with a Halkey-Roberts (HR) hose adapter, which is what you'll need to inflate your iSUP, so be sure to order one of those along with the pump. Amazon conveniently shows this pump along with an HR valve in their "Frequently Bough Together" section, but I clearly didn't get that memo when I bought this pump. I ended up buying two iSUP's that came with their own foot pumps, so I just removed the HR adapter from one of the foot pumps and it fit properly onto the Bravo hose using on of the white Bravo connectors.Usage of the pump was fairly straightforward. One review mentioned that the hose was stiff and difficult to screw into the pump, but I'd rather have a thicker/stiffer hose than a flimsy one like what came with my foot pump. It does take a little manipulation to get the threads of the hose to line up with the threads on the pump, but that doesn't warrant a lesser rating. I correlate the stiffer hose as being good quality and everything seems as though it will last a long time.I did not time how long it took to inflate my iSUPs, but I want to say it took no more than 20 minutes to do both. While they were filling I was able to assemble my paddles and prep a few more things, so there wasn't much downtime. The deflating feature is just as valuable. It was just as easy as inflating and helped pack up the iSUP properly, as opposed to having to roll and lay on the iSUP to try and get all the air out.The cost is high for the pump, but I don't feel that cost deserves to have a star removed in this case. Bravo certainly seems to have the market cornered on these pumps, but you get what you pay for. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on the pump at first, but after trying to use a foot pump on two iSUPs, I quickly changed my tune, especially since I plan to use this often.Be sure to read the instructions prior to use. A few reviews claimed their pump died after only a few uses. The instructions are very specific and state that the pump should not run for more than 20 minutes at a time, and also not to adjust the PSI gauge lower while the pump is being operated. (i.e. if your iSUP is currently inflated to 10 PSI and the pump is running, don't adjust the PSI gauge to anything lower than 10 PSI).Portability is very good, as everything is contained within a nice nylon bag about the size of a lunchbox (if you need exact dimensions, I'd be happy to oblige). It will certainly fit into a checked bag if you plan on traveling with this pump. Keep in mind this kit only includes the alligator clips to connect the pump to a vehicle battery, so you may want to purchase the separate battery pack, or purchase the kit that comes with the battery and alligator clips.

Good pump
Works as intended seems to be reliable.

Used it a dozen times then it died - same as with Jeff Norris review
It worked well about a dozen times. Now when it switches from turbine to piston ( less than 1 psi) it no longer pumps air. I bought it through AMazon but it was a couple of years ago. Hoping to get it fixed or replaced....

Works well, but
It works well, does the job better than the hand pump and was quite fast. The adapter didn't fit the piece I needed so I needed to use something else. When the paddle board was almost to 14 PSI the air hose blow off. Not the part I jerryrigged, but how it came. I use a metal clamp to hold it together and was able to pump the board to 14 psi with no problems.

One out of two is not acceptable. Good for inflation and deflation does not work!!
the inflation portion was great. The deflation fitting was a different thread. The company I purchased it from opened 5 other boxes and they were all manufactured incorrectly. Why would they use two different size fittings. I returned it and the company I purchased it from was great and helped us acquire another pump that worked for our needs.Until this manufacturing error is taken care of, I would not purchase this. Just glad I checked this out before bringing it on a trip, it would have been a disaster as we tried to deflate rafts to pack into backpacks.

6 uses and then the cyclinder cracked
I was really excited about this little unit because I have three inflatable Stand Up Paddle Boards and I can't tell you how tired I am with using the hand pump to fill them. This Bravo pump was, by far, the most expensive but it said in the advertisement that it would fill SUP's to 15 PSI and most good SUP's take at least 15 PSI and some as much as 18 PSI. Most of the other pumps had a PSI limit far less than this pump so I spent the extra money to get this one. In reality, it seems to shut off right before it gets to the 15 PSI limit right around 14.5 PSI but close enough so I can use a hand pump to inflate it all the way but suggest to anyone to leave your SUP slightly under-inflated below max permissible because I had an inflatable SUP pop at the seam in the sun that was filled right up to its max allowable PSI. It probably should not have popped under those conditions but if a little less PSI will do the job, than it seems prudent to me to do so.However, about after only six uses, I believe the pump cracked a cylinder because all of a sudden it started making a huge racket like something had broken, and stopped pumping. This all happened when it had only 3 PSI indicating on the pump gauge! I have submitted a request through Amazon to have it replaced, it being only 3 months old, and Amazon will more than likely replace it for me. It just works so well I have to try another one because I am not going back to the hand pump again if I don't have to. I will post the results of my request for a replacement and how well the replacement pump performs.

easy and quick to use
Super easy to use and I inflated my paddle board in about 5 minutes or so! I actually do not know much about the attachments to individual inflatables as I purchased one separately for my paddle board. Love the carrying case that keeps all the parts together.
