A high yield Board Review

The book looks good flipping through, but when you actually read it, many sections are too bulleted and short to be useful. Numerous formatting errors that make the information and bullets hard to follow. Also numerous incorrect/misstatements, and that's just with information i know! The answer section is in the book, but they forgot to include the questions. save your money and time and use a different book for board study.

I initially bought this book because I’m recertifying. I do like the bullet format but I would’ve liked it better if the information presented was accurate. I’m very surprised an actual neonatologist wrote this book. Maybe there was no time to proofread it or maybe it was written when she was half asleep after a 24 hour call. Either way, you should buy a more accurate neonatal board review book, and not one that says to “suction the nose before the mouth.” And that’s only one simple example of how inaccurate this book is.

I bought this book as a new NICU fellow. I was disappointed to find that while there was a substantial answer section, the questions/vignettes that are advertised are nowhere to be found in the book. This seems to be an editing/printing oversight, but is very disappointing... The information appears otherwise helpful.

Some incorrect information, some chapters are well written but most are not. There is an obvious issue with the design as the words are scattered in very strange way. I would highly recommend reediting. Information load doesn't correlate well with ABP requirement ( too much focus on low yield topics ( ear, nose, eye,etc..)
