Wide variation
This book is great. It has a wide variation of math from adding, subtracting, word problems, telling time, learning about money and so much more. I got this for my rising 2nd grader to help him get a head start on 2nd grade which starts in about 3 weeks, but also to refresh his memory from 1st grade. It is easy to understand and lots of fun to do. I’m glad I purchased this book.

Simple & clear addition to an early math curriculum
Solid, straightforward & clear. Not a stand-alone book but great as part of a math curriculum. I like the layout & how concise it is. No frills, nothing fancy, but added practice.

Nice activities. Keeps kids intrested
Nice activity book. My son is a bit special becuase he is a learning sponge. He is 4 and a half and he knows additinmon, subtraction and he knows how read and spell in english and spanish. I know many will say this is grate but is also a big challenge when it comes to keep then intrest. Now that there is no preschool he has been asking for school activities but most pre-school books are way to basic for his level. These book is very good!!! The level is for a 1st grade and it has lost of spelling activities. We also both the basic math of the same brand and he is loving then. We also bought the spanish 1st grade activity book form Carson Dellosa and he is living that one too. So very satisfy!!!

these books are easy to understand
I have all of the School Zone math workbooks from Grade K through 6th, including the Fractions and Math Puzzles. For any child who needs brushing up on math, particularly during the summer, or extra help understanding a concept that was taught too quickly in a classroom, these books are easy to understand. As a homeschooling mom of a very "visual" learner, the color pages and fun examples make math less of a chore, and the workbooks can stand alone, unlike some workbooks where they are meant to be a worksheet to accompany a lesson from a textbook or other. These workbooks can be given to a child to do on their own, as the instructions are at the top of each page and an example. I have also found, while grading the work, that the answer key is predominantly correct. I have only found a few instances where the answer key is wrong, and it was only one answer or an entire row of answers was missing. Obviously, at this level, I am able to determine the correct answer myself.
