I am a student pilot and wanted a way to visually practice my manuvers with this model. It comes with a short 10-12" of runway that plugs together like puzzle pieces. This is great for student pilots and flight instructors to show how to take off and land on a runway, perform approaches, and illustrate crosswind and short takeoffs on the provided runway. Cool. I ordered all three at one time, Hot Wings Piper Cherokee, Hot Wings Beechcraft Bonanza, and Hot Wings Cessna 172 Shyhawk. These models are die cast- type and are fun. I know if a youngster is interested in aviation, this would be a great gift!

Is it accurate in details? Hey, I don't know. I didn't see it. It was shipped to the grands. They love it. A 4 yo grandson was wanting a realistic airplane like his grandpa's. So hey, this fit the bill

I am training to become a certified flight instructor. I fly Cherokees, and this plane is extremely helpful for teaching students. My instructor used the same plane during my private pilot training.

The model itself is great but I bought this as a gift for someone who actually owns that plane and the package was completely destroyed. No good as a collectors item. so I have to send it back.
