Magnesium is a vital mineral for health and especially for good immune system function. Modern city lifestyles, stress and processed food can lead quickly to Mg depletion. Soaking in MgCl2) flakes is certainly therapeutic & relaxing and leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and fresh.This is a double-sealed bag containing 5kg of magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2) flakes, good as a refill if you already have a 5kg or 10kg bucket to keep your supply of Mg flakes in. You scoop the magnesium flakes into the bathwater and then soak in it.One caution: if you leave the bag open, the MgCl2 flakes absorb moisture from the atmosphere (especially in a bathroom where the air often is full of moisture) and go hard, sitting in a pool of milky-coloured liquid. This doesn’t affect the Mg chemically but changes its consistency when handling it, hence the advisability of keeping the Mg flakes in a lid-sealed bucket.Good product and very good value.

Asked to rate absorbency, pain relief and flavour?? Well take a flake and taste and it’s pretty awful of course! Result, yes I’m convinced it’s authentic magnesium salt. :-)) salt of course is absorbent… how do you rate that? Lol. Make sure it’s put in an airtight container immediately on opening and will be fine. Pain relief? Well time will tell, but it certainly does help with muscle and nerve health as well as heart health, but in very moderate tiny doses per day! A couple of flakes stirred into coffee or hot chocolate are hardly noticed and an easy way to take it. Alternatively a couple flakes stirred into your Gravy. Take too much and your tummy will know it! So don’t! Lol. Also great foot soak along with eucalyptus essential oil to cure athletes foot etc

Think it is working . A lot cheaper than buying ready made and very easy to make up 1 part water to 1 part flakes seems to work well.

Great for relaxing. Good value. First time it bottom has gone solid when transferred In to container. May be down to me so watching to see if happens in other bag.

Product was as expected from description given on Amazon Web Site. However very disappointed with the exterior packing. The plastic bag had been damaged in 2 places and repaired with sellotape. Therefore i am unsure if any of the product was missing due to the damaged packaging. As this was my first time of buying products from yourselves it did not look very professional due to the damaged packaging and may make think twice about ordering again.
