The jacket is perfect. Great material. The boots look great too. The hat came smashed but I wasn't going to use it anyways. I used this costume to try to look like barbossa from pirates of the caribbean. Came out great. I got tons of compliments. I bought the barbossa hat on Amazon and the extra belt.

The coat is really nice quality for a costume. The hat and the other accessories are a bit flimsy, but I think they come together well and I got many compliments on it. I purchased a large which is typically what I wear and overall fit perfectly, although the neck thing was way to small for my fat neck though so I just tucked the ends into my undershirt... good enough! Unless you have a 12" neck, it probably won't fit. Price is certainly a bit steep, but I was not disappointed in it one bit.

Overall this is a very good costume... with some additional accessories.and minor tweaks.First the jacket is both the sizzle and the steak. It looks great and is made pretty well for a mid price costume piece. I have on the large and I'm 5'5 and 185 and it fits me great. Also I went to a boat party and along with a wife beater and shirt I was very comfortable in thr 57 degree weather and wind on deck.The bad. The gun belt is trash toss it. The boot covers are nice but a Lil too plastic and u need just the right color boot but a decent additional the sash/belt is great too. The hat is also trash. I didn't consider looking for a better one but should have it was cheap and flimsy. But again the cost is the star, the boot covers and sash a welcome addition. The neck peice works well too.Just wqs a bit tight on me. I spent another $30 on the tunic shirt and black pants and another red scarf to pull the whole thing together. Item is really great looking. I feel this item runs smaller than expected. This is not a free return item as listed on this item page, you will have to pay return shipping and for us, it was expensive to return. Amazon was amazing navigating but the seller was difficult and did not understand my messages and kept repeating things that didn’t match what I was saying to them. Make sure to order larger than you need.

I had originally selected a cheap (thin nylon) type of costume for $40 and placed it in my Amazon cart. Like most others, it didn't come with a hat or the boat overlays, so I selected those ($35 and $15) and put them in my cart as well. My cart total was now $90 for a cheap flimsy costume. It was a no brainer to replace the three items sold separately for this one that not only comes with everything, but is very well made! This is NOT a fall-apart/easily tears kind of deal. I only paid $10 more for a costume that will not only last a long, long time, but it looks so much better, and so much more realistic than the shiny, see-through nylon alternatives. My husband is 6'1"ft and 210lbs. We purchased a L (only because the XL was not available) and it fits him just fine.

WOW, was not expecting this quality of costume. Coat is very well made and fits perfectly. Wife thought I had it custom made. Coat alone well worth the price of the entire costume. Hat is a little flimsy, but with some minor modifications and updates will be more than adequate. I am 6 ft. 245 lbs. and I chose the XL. Do not hesitate on ordering this outfit.
