Great toy for a great little girl with big ideas and a huge imagination
Not sure why my daughter asked for this Barbie, but she is a really loving and compassionate soul when she’s not being a typical 6 year-old. I was happy to give it to her and she loves it. We pack it up everywhere we go and it’s held up well — most surprisingly the wheelchair. I never liked message the Barbie TV show sent, but the toys themselves are great. As a rough and tumble kind of Dad that doesn’t always understand little girls I’ve still enjoyed watching my daughter’s imagination take off with her Barbies. I know, somehow, that her play now will help her grow up into an amazing woman later — with the help of these career positive dolls.

Great doll!
Great doll and wheelchair! The wheelchair is great and modern and has a great color! Barbie's outfit is also super cute and her face mold too! I like how the wheelchair has that snap thingy to put around the doll's waist so the doll can sit on the wheelchair and not slide off. Barbie has a made to move body too so she can actually use her wheelchair! I bought this when it was I think about half off so I thought it was a good deal.

Another winner! Well made, fun, versatile!
Yay for Barbie! Mattel's first-ever Barbie arrived during my childhood, ushering in a stiff but glamorous view of domestic possibilities. Decades later, she taught my daughter to dream even bigger for both family and any choice of career. Now, as I use a wheelchair while my broken ankle heals, my young grandchildren are fascinated by aging, physical infirmities, and assistive devices. They want to steer me in my chair, but our narrow hallways aren't crowd friendly. So I've bought us a Made-to-Move flexible Barbie with an awesome, well-made working wheelchair, and now they zoom her all around the house without taking paint off the walls. They can even apply the brakes to keep her safe on tabletop adventures. A personal perk is that Barbie's hair color evokes memories of my youth and her wheelchair color matches mine, so I use her as a mini-me avatar of healing, setting her in various extreme yoga poses to encourage my sense of humor and to visualize a plan for wellness. It's working! I'm not so disappointed about my latest physical setback because I see the future through her and it looks pretty good. Thanks, Mattel, for a long lifetime of inspirational Barbies. You've been there every step of the journey. (Take your time if you're thinking of making the next one with an urn, okay? Not quite ready for that.)

Barbie...can this get any better!
Perfect product for our granddaughter. She loves her Barbies. Grampy had to use a wheelchair prior to his surgery. Our granddaughter was a little apprehensive about his using the wheelchair. This Barbie was a great way to show her it's okay and there is nothing to fear. Teaches compassion...She plays doctor, wraps Barbies leg up with bandages just like grampy... It does get better.... He's still in the wheelchair as the infection did not clear. He had to have a below the knee a amputation ... and there is another Barbie (from the Fashionista collection) with a prosthetic leg... Way to go Barbie manufacturers!

Perfect for my niece
Bought this for my 5 year old niece and she absolutely loves it. She wants to become a doctor when she grows up, so she's been making casts and crutches, and using an "x-ray machine", etc for her Barbies. So this was perfect for her. Also shows her that people can be different and sometimes other people have to use wheelchairs all the time. Really happy I got this for her, and it was a great price.

I wish they made these when I was a kid!
These made-to-move bodies are genius! And very well made. The dancer has pretty tights and little slippers which was very important bc I bought this as a gift for my 4yr old neice's ballet recital. She is obsessed with showing me the poses she has learned on her new barbie. I also find myself playing and posing her too. I can't tell you how often I wanted my barbie to move and bend when I was young! I'm thinking about buying her a doll stand too so she can stay up while being posed.

Very nice doll overall
I have been wanting one of the made-to-move dolls for awhile and finally took the plunge with this version. Overall I am very happy with it. She is pretty and I like the hair up in the bun. I love all the articulation as I use the dolls for posing and photography. My one issue (hence the 4 stars) was with the stiffness of the joints on the doll. Some of them were extremely hard to move and was afraid I may damage the doll. I finally got them to move but it was difficult. Since she is my first I don't know if this is something with all the made-to-moves or just this specific doll. I will keep her as she is...she will work for my purposes. I also noticed that the outfit is slightly different than shown on here. It means nothing to me as she will be dressed in other things for photos but might make a difference to others.

Barbie has to fight too!
When I saw this Barbie doll I knew I needed to have it! I have been fighting several diseases in the past few years that have made me a lot less mobile and have landed me in a wheel chair on way more than one occasion so I display this doll proudly in my living room for all to see that there is actually a Barbie made to look like me! It's nice to see a Barbie that isn't perfect...she has to fight some stuff just like a lot of us do! Thanks Mattel for being inclusive to all people in all stages of life.
