I read a lot of reviews of what this mug was and was not, so that's the basis of the review. I knew it was not an insulating mug. I knew it wasn't leak proof. I knew that the silicone was removable and somewhat prone to holding water if not carefully dried. That's all fine.Every morning I make a warm matcha latte. I don't need to throw it in my bag or keep it warm throughout the day. I just need a mug I can cover with a lid, if needed, to take with me on the go. I don't need it to stay warm all day, I drink it before it even has a chance to get cool. I like the warm feeling of the mug on my hands. I love the ceramic. It has some weight, but my drink tastes delicious. I'm happy with this mug and will buy a few more.Oh, and even though my matcha latte is only about 8-10oz, I prefer the 16oz to the 12oz since I foam my milk. Less chance of spillover. But the 12oz really is a cute little size and still works for my needs.

Its beautiful to look at, I got the ivory color one. It looks great with my other cups in the kitchen because being ceramic and color and design. Did I mention? It is VERY soft to the touch. Perfect for cold drinks. It fits in the car cup holder and it is the perfect size for my lunch bag. I love the ceramic feel on my lips, I dislike stainless steel.Problems are: How hot it gets with coffee/tea, heat retention and leakage. When I drink tea or coffee, I can’t hold it until the drink cools off somewhat. It burns my hands. Once the drink cools off some, I love to hold it because it is super soft on the outside. My lid leaks too.

I've had my mug for about 3 months and it's started to crack from the inside. I've only hand-washed it and used it to drink tea. I noticed that there is a crack starting to form from the inside, likely due to a manufacturing flaw. I reached out to the manufacturer and they're only offering a 15% discount off of my next order. Really disappointing. I don't think I'll be ordering another Porter product again. This is a shame since I think they're well designed, but I can't support a company that doesn't stand behind the quality of its product.

This cup is cute and all, BUT it’s leaks at the top, it doesn’t fit in a car cup holder, the outside of the cup gets boiling hot where you can’t touch it, but the coffee/tea gets cold really quickly. For $25 I expected a lot better quality.

I love this mug, easy to clean well, comfortable to hold. My only complaint is that my coffee gets cold a little sooner than I’d like. I would buy again though. Ceramic is the best for coffee and tea.

It's a good size for getting a small coffee at a coffee shop. Nice heft and feels good in the hand. Easy to clean because the inside has a rounded bottom. Not intended to be leak proof, but the lid fits snugly and would not leak just from accidentally tilting or knocking the mug over for a brief time. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Really cute and nice to the touch. Holds just the right amount of liquid. Can use in microwave and easy to clean. But — it gets hot to the touch of your beverage is hot; it doesn’t keep it hot for very long (it’s not at all like your yeti or hydro flask mug); and the lid leaves much to be desired (the opening is tiny; and the lid seems flimsy). Okay for home but doesn’t seem sturdy to take it to go.
