Kai Tai Inc 4 Pushers Complete American Mahjong Set in Aluminum Case, 166 Tiles(mah Jong Mah Jongg Mahjongg)

This set is well made. I use the carrying case frequently as I travel to meet with my playing friends. It took me a while to learn the game, but I'm finally winning once in a while. I bought the set to help keep my mind sharp. I must say that this game takes a lot of thinking!

This is nice set.Comes readyto play with 4 Racks N pushers.Plus Dice and disc pieces to keep score.An other good thing is that it comes in a nice n light Aluminium case.This case will keep them safe and handy to carry around when you need to travel with themto play at other friends home. The case is the main reason why I bought this set.

This set is just what I expected based on reviews that I had read about this product! Do not expect to use the instruction manual included with the set to learn how to play Mah Jong as it will not make sense. The tiles, racks and pushers are great! Set includes trays with clear covers for the tiles and the included dice are a good size. The storage case is well made and I have already purchased a second set for a friend and recommended this set to others who play in my Mah Jong group! Great value for the price!

This set is exactly what I was hoping it would be. The tiles are bright white and easy to read; the racks and pushers are 2 piece, the kind I'm used to playing with; the case is sturdy; and, the tile boxes have lids. They're a little thin and flexible, but are fine, and with normal care, serve the purpose. There are 2 extra jokers and 4 blank tiles as well. The set came with some items I've never used while playing, such as betting chips, "season" tiles (autumn, winter, spring and summer), and what may be a bettor, but I'm not sure. I suspect these may be may be used when playing Chinese Mah Jongg, but I've never used them when playing American Mah Jongg. There is nothing negative about my purchase. The dice included with the set are pretty small, but I bought larger dice at the dollar store and will use those instead of the ones included with the set. It's a very nice set and I'm glad I bought it.

Very nice set. This is the first set I've owned. I was hesitant to purchase without seeing it, but the reviews were good. In the group I play with, several people have nice sets, wood boxes, etc. I actually am pleased I went with the metal carrier because it is not going to get scratched up the way the wooden ones do. It's compact and yet the pushers (which did come with it) fit right in the box. That's something I've found with the other sets I've seen, the pushers don't fit inside.The tiles are nice, and the right size, there are extra blank tiles included, and extra jokers, included. Also, all kinds of extras that I know have a function, but not what yet (just learning), disks, dice, etc. The design for each of the suits is the same as the other games I've played with, and I wanted that. Only the 1 Bam is slightly different, but I think that's not unusual.Overall, very happy with this set. Haven't gotten to play with it yet, but I've unpacked and unwrapped all the parts and looked them over and I feel I made the right choice.

I bought this as a gift for one of our players who didn't have her own set. I was worried about the box and contents but it come on time and everything is in perfect condition. The box is plastic but looks like metal it seems good enough to hold the set. The set is a typical American set with everything just the way it is suppose to look. Thanks to the pushers I think this set may end up our groups favorite set. This is not a beginners set, it is everything that is needed to play. Most people don't use the chips, if they play for money generally cash is used. This is a great set and you aren't going to get a better set for more money. PS most of us are using sets we inherited from our mothers (really old sets). I forgot to add that it come with covers for the tile storage boxes which are probably meant for shipping but are really nice for as long as they last.

I have this set and I purchased another one (now a couple of years later) to ship directly to my daughter for Christmas. She was excited to receive it, but all 4 pushers were broken in exactly the same spot. After some difficulty getting a response from the seller (I think this was Amazon confusion, not the sellers fault), the seller shipped 4 replacement pushers that arrive quickly and in excellent condition. I would purchase from this seller again. The broken pieces just seemed like a fluke and they were very willing to make it right.
