UNI-BALL SAR 0.7mm Ball Pen | Blue Ink, Pack of 10

The Uniball SA-R is an excellent ball pen however, it is not for everyone - which is why you may see a lot of negative reviews for it here. If you're looking for the smoothest ball point pen, this is not it. You're better off with a Hauser XO or uniball jetstream in that case.The Uniball SA-R is a 0.7 mm pen but writes like a 0.5 mm. Initially it will feel extremely scratchy but it does become a lot smoother after the initial break in period (just keep scribbling on a waste paper pad for about a minute to get the nib to break-in). However, even later it isn't a super smooth pen because the ink isn't very lubricated - but what it does offer is extreme control. It forces you to slow down and gives you feedback for every stroke, you will get the best version of your handwriting with this pen.The build quality of the pen itself is great but what I don't like is the friction fit cap design. A cap that would click into place and something prettier would have made this pen even better.This pen comes with archival quality ink so whatever you write with it will still exist 100 years later provided someone takes care of the sheet you wrote on for that long.All in all, it is an excellent writer if you know what you're getting into - beautiful ink colour, archival ink, extreme control over writing, ink lasts 2x more than other regular ball points, it is adequately smooth (no Hauser XO level smoothness though) which is a positive or negative depending on how you look at it - I like it because it has much better control and produces better handwriting

Uniball sa r is the best Japanese ballpoint pen! It runs smoothly on paper.the ink colour is also good.must buy!

Pen is very good and the grip is nice just the pen writes abit on the lighter side but overall great pen

poor quality pen the ink is very light. the pen stops working after a few months even if there is a lot of ink left or if you drop it. the ink is not smooth on paper. please don't waste your money and buy this. there are better quality pens for a cheaper price.

I m in 10th standard 1997 this pen is best quality, but now the pen is little dry, and some times is not working in between,Please I want 1997 quality, it's best performance in1997.

Good ink quality doesn’t overflow

Very reliable. Uses super Ink that is fade proof and waterproof. Contains pigment ink. Excellent for use on Bible paper (28 GSM).
