StetsonMen's Oily Timber Baseball Cap

My last Leather baseball cap style hat lasted me for years until it fell into a fire and was destroyed.I shopped around quite a bit before buying the Stetson Brand Black Leather Baseball Hat.Upon arrival, the hat was well wrapped and shipped with adequate protection.After opening up the wrapper, it was clear that Stetson still lives up to their name. The Leather quality is superb! The stitching is flawless and looks as though this hat could last me for 10 years or more easily. The leather is soft yet thick, the adjuster on the back slides into a sleave in the hat with a Velcro cover to keep the band from rubbing the back of your head or tangling in your hair. I truly love my Stetson Black Leather Baseball Cap! It's designed with the beanie type top, not the duckbill which I hate. I have a smaller rounder head and Duckbills look like I'm Frankenstein. lolThis hat was worth the cost to me by far. Cheaper hats are out there. However, Cheaper is exactly what you'll get!I bought this product and did not receive it as a Vine Reviewer.

I was pleased with the over all quality of this hat. The leather is pliable-not stiff. It provides the shade I want as well as the perfect temperature- not hot not cold.

I bought 2 other leather caps from Amazon-one for $13 and made in the U.S. and the other for about $40 but turned out to be made in Korea. The headband was made of plastic with a cloth backing. What a rip off! Both of these caps had shinny and very poor quality leather with uneven texture.This Stetson cap, although made in China, is by far the best one. Its quality, leather, fit, and design are by far the best. I would recommend this cap to anyone serious about a leather cap. You won't go wrong. This cap is worth the price.

Nice hat- warm hat- would not wear it on a summers day - like the leather part. seems to be a good quality. Looking forward for some cool fall days and winter days. So nice I didn't want to sweat in the thing. I did feel dressed up when I had it on. Brown might have been a better choice color wise- can not remember if brown was offered. since some of my dressier shoes are brown. My everyday shoes are black. just decided for now its not a everyday hat.

I just received this hat today and the quality is stupendous. It's made of the very highest quality, thick, heavy and very soft cowhide. This hat has some heft to it. Well suited for outside in the fall and winter. The internal velcro adjustment strap in back is nicely done. I don't know what other reviewers were talking about regarding size. I have a 7.5 head which is very large and there is plenty of room in this hat to go up or down with the easy adjustment capability. I have purchased several leather hats from Amazon and this one far surpasses the quality of any other. Great hat at a great price. You won't be disappointed. Well done Timberland!

I bought one of these hats three years ago and it finally started to wear out so I ordered this replacement. I will be returning it because the quality of the leather used to craft this hat is a joke. It's half the thickness of the old hat and has at least two different leathers in it. Overall it's half the weight, half the craftsmanship and over 20 bucks more than I paid at a local shop. The local shop I bought the original from is no longer selling them, probably due to the dramatic drop in quality. Save your money and shop locally, this hat is just crap which is super disappointing because I expected something from Stetson to be a much better product.

I thought twice about buying a leather baseball hat for $60+ but after looking and buying a few others sold here I decided to buy one of these hats for myself and I am really glad I did. This is one of the best hats I have ever owned. It is very well made and the Velcro adjustment for size is very well done. I just hope I don't loose it. Most other hats are cheap enough if something happens you won't need to get upset if you loose it, not so with this one.

The hat did not fit over the head properly, even when I adjusted by pulling the strap out-- it did not come down low enough on the sides in the back and we're scrunched up on the top-- it had the fit of other cheap hats that I have bought that I've had to throw out--- it is hard to find a good fitting hat, but I have a couple a Detroit redwings hat, and a NASA hat that fit properly---whenever I travel to other countries, they have cheap ill fitting hats and this one fits exactly like that--- I don't advise buying it or you will be sorry it cost a lot of money for what you got. There's no value to this hat it's sort of like they threw together the cheapest hat that they could, and did not take any extra effort to make it nice---

Only expect to recieve the best when you order a Stetson.. the most famous hattery in north america..a reputation made by quality not just status....wow what a nice lid but hey ..ITS A STETSON !!!! Oh ya its adjustable via hidden velcro .........mejostrc............

Purchased this cap via global store and the delivery was very fast. The cap is simply wow! the leather looks very rich and worth the cost. The cap is slightly large for my head, but given the fact no one make a tailor fit caps and have to go by what is available. The cap has a strap and can adjust the size to fit the head and hence this is not much of a problem. No fancy logo on the caps and that's what I liked the most and appears like its custom made. Easily a head turner as it will not be seen commonly. Great caps to have, I recommend this if you have a liking towards leather and caps.

Best leather ball cap money can buy, I usually buy the cheap black leather ones, and they last 10 years living in the middle of a rain-forest, so I would expect this one to outlast me; the leather and craftsmanship is of superior quality, what else can I say, it's a Stetson!I've used and abused this hat 24/7, 365 days a year, for six years while residing smack in the middle of rain forest only wiping the inside of the hat with paper towels and pine sol occasionally, but never conditioning or waterproofing it. I loved this hat so much when I got it that I purchased a second as a back up in case something happened to the first one, but the first hat has held up so well that I have yet to be compelled to remove the second purchase from its bag; needless to say I disagree with people who don't see any difference between this Stetson and a cheap leather ball cap, most of those so called leather ball caps are only leather (cheap leather at that) in the back two panels of the beanie, the front panels as well as the visor are polyurethane and starts to look like a huge wrinkly prairie oyster on you head if you constantly wear them in the rain as I have in the past. The most important difference is that the Stetson is the only cap I've seen that is made with full grain pebbled leather. New pictures of my six year old Stetson submitted for your scrutiny.
