Works as expected, no issues with my Surface PRO 4.My type cover port on the Surface broke and I could not use any type covers on it. This was the next best option I could find. Keep in mide the following if you are looking at this product:- It is a Bluetooth keyboard/glide point. It does not interface with the Surface through the type cover port- It fits on the bottom of the Surface with magnets and I have not had any issues with it falling off.- It is slightly thicker than a regular type cover- It needs to be recharged periodically, USB-C cable included- It must be turned on/off separately from the computer.So far it has worked great for what I needed. The only negative I have so far is there is no battery capacity available. Other BT devices will show the battery strength under the Devices on the computer, but not this one.No issues loosing BT connection or unavailability problems.

Unfortunately this keyboard is hilariously bad. Many of the keys keep sending a signal that they’re being pressed even when they’re not being touched. The z key is a particular troublemaker for me (thisz is a sentenzce wherzez I didzn’t backspace the random extra zz’zs zizt azdded in by itself after pressing the key) and sometimes it will stay completely stuck until the key is pressed a few more times. One of my students joked that my keyboard seems tired. Yesterday my Surface was getting extremely hot while it was closed and in my bag because the keyboard kept telling sending a signal that the z key was being held down, keeping my device awake. The brightness keys also get stuck like this, forcing me to choose between absolute max/min brightness only.Other issues: some of the keys are wobbly, crooked, and not fully attached (see pics). The manual is full of errors and typos (“Erro checking” is my favorite!). The touchpad is laggy and inaccurate. The USB-C charger doesn’t register as charging unless plugged in very tightly, and the keyboard stops charging if the charger is moved even slightly.It does have some upsides though. The clicks on the touchpad and on the keys are pretty satisfying. It’s also a few dollars cheaper than the competition. It does have a USB-C port rather than micro-USB (although the connector is pretty bad). The magnet it uses to attach to the Surface is pretty strong (possibly even stronger than an official one).Despite the upsides though, the key sticking issue and the random waking up issue makes it totally unusable (not to mention the other cons). Unless you’re in it for the zcomedy valuez ofz hilazzriouszz typozs --- I’d avoid this completely and spend some more for a different keyboard. I’ll be returning mine.

This keyboard is super cool. I was worried because it was so inexpensive that it would be junk, but it IS REALLY GREAT! Fits my surface pro 3 perfectly. It's good quality. I can change the color for whatever mood I'm in. The touch pad works exactly like it should. I deffinatly recommend this item. I've only charged it the one time. I've had it two weeks. I don't use it a lot, but I still haven't had to charge it a second time yet. I love it. And this is a sincere review. I'm not posting it for a reward, just for the pure purpose of letting anyone that wants to know if it's worth it, that I think it deffinatly is.

For the price I paid, I got what paid for. The unit fits on my Surface Pro 17 just fine (does not plug into the Surface, only magnetically snaps to the bottom, i.e., does not interface/charge via the Surface). It does fold over the Surface screen just as if it was genuine Microsoft product which was really cool and magnet grip is really, really strong - it won't fall off from the Surface. The lighted key are bright enough to be used in the dark, but the keys go off after 10-15 seconds of non-use. The only troubling thing is the charging port. It has to be the most strangest powering port in the world. Takes me quite an effort to get it to engage (magnetic hold in place and right in way of use making charging while in use a little difficult). So far, the thing has stayed charged for five eight-hour use days without running out of juice. Only other thing is when attached to the Surface it jacks up the keyboard as if it had fold out feet like you see on a normal keyboard. That is not an issue for me (I like a sloped keyboard), but it is so thin, it "oilcans" (i.e. bows with pressure) as opposed to laying flat on the desktop. A little annoying, but usable. Also, it starts up with the NUMLOCK always on which disables the letter keys, so you have to remember to turn off NUUMLOCK each time you start it up. SUPER ANNOYING! Not sure why it would default to that configuration?
