DUCANE Gas Grill Ceramic Briquettes - 70 Count Bag

These are very good briquettes. They're expensive, but compared the poor quality of other briquettes, they're almost worth the price. I've had them for over a year now and I've cleaned them a couple times now. They aren't fragile, they don't crumble and they work. They spread the heat in my gas grill evenly, they burn off the grease and grime from cooking and they just plain old work. Some other briquettes that I've tried crumbled or cracked, but these do not do that. They will serve their purpose and last, like a good product should. The quantity in the box wasn't enough to cover my entire grill's grates, so I will be ordering more soon.

Worked wonderfully

These briquettes were the perfect match for my Alfresco gas grill. They arrived in a plastic bag, and amazingly were not broken or crumbled. They looked very impressive, but that went away quickly when the next day after grilling chicken the night before, they were very blackened in color. I did another grill with burgers and more discoloration. So, I inverted them and heated the grill on high for twenty minutes to remove the grease residue, just like I used to for my original set. Unfortunately, I did not notice any significant improvement. I guess I will have to live with the blackened look from here on out which makes them look years old already. They work ok otherwise, so I can't be too disappointed at this price point.

My Americana Ducane gas grill was not heating up very good. I researched issues and cleaned all holes in gas pipes etc and then read a comment about conditions of the briquettes. I thought, even though these are pricey, compared to others, I'd try them before purchasing a new grill. Arrived today and I realized I hadn't had enough briquettes in my grill (it's several years old) let alone the ones I had were crumbling. Last time I used the grill I knew there was an issue as I could run my hand across the grate and it wasn't that hot. Well, let me tell you, these briquettes are the best and now the base is fully covered w/ the briquettes and there is no way I can put my hand across them like previously as it's HOT. I can't wait to grill a steak! Highly recommend. They were all in a plastic bag loose but surrounded by styrofoam chips...NOT one briquette was damaged.

I purchased these to replace the briquettes for my du and grill. They seem to be a perfect fit. I’ve used the grill several times since replacing them and they seem to be working great.

Great ceramic briquettes. The order arrived quickly, it was boxed well and none of the briquettes were broken. I'm using these to replace the ceramic briquettes on my Alfresco grill which would have cost over $100 to replace if I had used the original manufacturers briquettes. Lots of other manufacturers had bags which had 40 or 50 briquettes so needing 70 this was the best and most economical purchase for me. They seem as well made as the originals and heated easily and radiated even heat. I had an original briquette which I added to the middle of these, so that I could see how long they last in comparison to the originals. I'll do an update once I have an answer to that question.

These are almost a perfect fit for my older Ducane gas grill. Work just great.

They were smaller than I imagined. It could be my error by not realizing what 2x2 is but they are smaller than the ones I am replacing. They came in a bag, which I am surprised more weren't broken. They are ok, nothing special.
