An Excellent Collection to Have
This book has no explanations of anything. It is Volume One of two of a terrific collection of schematic diagrams of all makes and models of tube guitar amplifiers, and maybe a few others. I bought both volumes as references, and as study aids in my learning to read audio equipment schematics. This collection is very extensive; so much so that there are schematics of amplifiers I have never heard of, and I was really up on this kind of equipment many decades ago. I would say overall, if you are going to want a collection of guitar amp schematics, buy both books so you will have the full compliment, from A to Z. You may never need them all, but if you are working on any of your own equipment, or especially if you are repairing any of these, even on a casual basis, you will find these books a great tool to have on the shelf.
