Bought 1 to test it out and then went on to buy another 4 as was happy with the build, appearance and light output. Easy to wire up and the bulbs that came with them are a bright white light. Lights up the garden perfectly so we can see the dog when she’s out at night. They throw most the light downwards so in summer I think we will be able to sit out at night and use these without getting the light in our eyes however if you where using these around a seating area I would suggest using a warm white bulb to give a warmer cosy glow.I would recommend these lights and think they are good value for money.

I bought one of these light units some time ago and found it to be well made and it has stood up to the weather well.I like these in particular because they have a clear diffusers and look good when used with a flame effect bulb.

This is a value light fitting. It’s not made entirely of metal and so may not last. The plastic cover at the top gets condensation inside, which is a concern.I would have also preferred a frosted glass effect so I don’t have to look at the light bulb inside

These lights are well worth the money, easy to install. I put them on a timer. Would highly recommend

I bought a pack of 4 of these lights unfortunantly one had a bit of damage to one of the light deflector fins, appears to have got bent when the light was packed into its tight fitting box, but was easy enough to bend back into shape, I found the supplied 4 watt lights to be a little to bright for my purpose but as a temporary light turned on when needed they would be fine. I wanted mine on a night sensor to come on and stay on all night, for this purpose a 1 or 2 watt LED bulb is better.Installation is fairly easy however the manufacture didnt build in and provision to allow the cable to enter under the base, a small cut out for a 3 amp cable would have been nice as there is a risk the base can damage the cable once the light is screwed down to a hard surface, hence taking off 1 starOtherwise a well made light that puts up with a lot of driving rain without leakage

Nice quality and arrived promptly. Although these are advertised as 230v, but can be fitted with 12v edison-screw led bulbs which means you can wire them to a low-voltage 12v supply. In which case there's no need for an electrician to install a safety breaker, or worrying about running 230V mains in the garden.Also, these lights fit snug onto 40mm solvent weld plastic pipe (the kind used for bathroom/kitchen waste) which doubles-up as conduit for the cables and can be buried in a hole with concrete to provide a sturdy support for the light. Allow 2~3 inches of pipe above the concrete for the light to push onto and there's no need to drill & screw to the concrete base

With the proper bulbs this product is great and they can bright the garden without be noticed during the day. Good waterproof box to connect it.
