I'd Source Locally
These are good. Probably best to buy locally if you can.These are vacuum packed and should last quite awhile, especially refrigerated.The taste is right there on Cracker Barrel level.

Extremely salty even for country ham.
The country ham biscuit cut is only 3 ounces so it is expensive. The worse thing is that it is so salty it tastes like brine. Not eatable. So order Penn ham directly from the company. Truly good ham.

KY native approved
My spouse is from KY and was missing country ham. I bought the 2 pack it was the perfect portion for 1 hungry person plus some leftovers. It was a hit and declared as good as they remembered from holidays in Kentucky. Not too salty and definitely not a sweet taste, despite sugar as an ingredient, thin cut but not paper thin. Will buy again for my Kentuckian.

A taste of home
I'm a old Carolina gal that loves her country ham. My husband is a Texan and we live next to the Mexican border and there is NO country ham down here. I'm thankful I can find this on amazon so I can treat myself once in a while. This ham was wonderful! To those that mention it's salty....that is how country ham is and always has been, it's a southern thang!
