SUPER LOUD
I use this with a 12v car amplifier and my security camera ( it has a microphone and a line out ) You can hear people and talk to them with your cell phone . I can yell at people when they are dumping trash in the alley . It scares the crap out of the and they leave . The neighborhood cats don't did it either .If you are going to use this speaker with a regular amplifier you have to remove the 70v transformer under the back / magnet cover 4 screws and it's off . Remove the transformer and use the two wires yellow + black- that are attached to the speaker driver and wire them to the output of the amp . Piece of cake .

Purchased for a commerical installation. It works well on the existing system. Announcements is the primary use for this speaker. Once installed it can be heard not on diectly in front of the sepaker but some 100 ft off to the sdes at right angles.
