Sir Perky Novelty Bottle Stopper

I purchased this purely with the intentions of adding it to the wine basket at my husbands family swap, they all have a great sense of humor so why not?!It went over well and was a complete hit, everyone had a great laugh.It turned out that my sister, being the awesome sister she is, bought the same exact one for me! I was very happy to receive Sir Perky! I am a wine drinker and it's a great and fun gift that I can shock guests with, who doesn't like to laugh?!The quality of Sir Perky is excellent and I have no reason to be disappointed. I did not notice any glue or seams as other reviewers did, just smooth molded plastic and rubber stopper rings.Sir Perky fits perfectly in wine bottles but does not fit in Champagne bottles as I found out on New Years. So don't purchase it intending to use it for Champagne.Buy it for wine bottles and you won't be disappointed.Pros:Funny and shocking at the same timeWorks perfectlyYou can lay the wine bottle down and stand him on his feet for a wine stand!Cons:None!

Very fast shipping by seller.Extraordinary Packaging for all 6 items that I ordered, no damages on the packaging inside or out, I'm very impressed!Only thing is I haven't been able to try the product out yet.. LOL not because of lack of wine but I don't want anyone to see them until Christmas Eve.. :-)The products I purchased are the most unique, awesome little Christmas stocking presents the women in my family will be getting on Christmas eve.Its just so adorable looking .. I have to admit that I like it because it makes me laugh and, fortunately, my husband isn't offended or jealous. It fits the wine bottles well and will probably last a very long time!

This is a fun gift to give anyone who drinks wine and can take a joke. They make seeing wine sitting out really funny and is a big conversation piece for those who have not seem it before. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because this is really really large. Some wines that can fit in certain places in the refrigerator could not fit after putting this on as a wine stopper. I have since used this more as a decoration piece or for red wine that I leave sitting out after opening. Overall, this is a really fun gift and sparks lots of conversation!

This was a HILARIOUS gag gift! So I wrapped it up for Christmas, addressed it to my mom from Santa, and put it under my 94 year old grandmother's tree at Thanksgiving. We didnt arrive to my grandmother's house until the afternoon on Christmas day. All of the presents had been opened except for the ones for me, my husband, and kids. About an hour after we got there, Mom goes on to thank me for throwing her under the bus! She had opened it thinking it was from my grandmother since it said that it was from Santa. My grandmother, not seeing what was in the box, said that she had sent her helper into town to pick it up for her, which was not the case. They all got a big laugh once they figured out who the prankster was! We did try it in a bottle of wine and it works perfectly. The little man is very well made. It will be bringing lots of laughs for years to come!

I bought this as a gift, which the recipient loved. It has gotten a lot of attention and given many laughs. I was asked to order about 5 more since then.The one I received looked exactly as the one pictured here on amazon and had no glue marks as another reviewers had. It fit in a wine bottle snugly as well. We even put the wine bottle on its side so Sir Perky was standing up and there was no wine leaking out. It's been 3 months since I purchased it and no issues to report.

Fun/funny gift for someone if you want, but overall, not happy with it. It doesn't fit some wine bottles for some reason (although I know it says it isn't meant to fit everything) and the black rubber parts that are ultimately meant to seal it easily come off and/or fall into the bottles or become lost. Very annoying and very easy to do. This was only used about 10 times before this happened.

This was bought as a gag gift for my sister who loves to drink wine. She laughed hysterically when she opened it. I thought "awesome, I bought a great gift"Boy was I wrong. 2 months later my sister tells us all that she's pregnant. And guess who the father is????Sir Perky! You Bastard!!!!!!I trusted him to cork her wine and stop there! First he tried to to deny he was the father but one look at that plastic red little child that popped out of my sister and we knew for sure he was the father. We didn't even need Maury Povich to intervene.To summarize, its a nice little wine stop that's great as a gag gift but he cannot be trusted around females.
