BobagsMartial Arts 60" Bo Staff/Sword/Long Weapons Bag

The media could not be loaded. We bought two of these. One for our 8 yr old and one for our 17 year old to transport their karate weapons to class and tournaments. It surprisingly holds all the weapons and is easy to carry. Our 8 year old has a little trouble with it because it’s about 2” taller than her, so she carries it a little sideways. But they are very durable and have gone everywhere with us. The extra protection on the end is helpful so that the bows don’t break through the bottom. Zippers and Velcro are all very good and hold well. It’s a great value for the money and keeps the weapons together. The name tag also helps us keep track of their bag when they are at class with everyone else. Great buy!!!! Definitely worth the money!

Well designed and manufactured. Good looking and spacious. Wish there was some way to adjust for length, but all in all a great value.

This is overall a good bag, nice and thick, good appropriately sized pockets for a variety of weapons. My one complaint is that the strap clips in the pictures look like they're sturdy metal clips, and i got plastic clips that let go and have to be re-attached ever so often. Kind of a pain when carrying the bag into the dojo and it falls off in the middle of the parking lot. I'm going to need to replace the clips with carabiners, probably.

This bag is really well made and is the perfect size for my son’s Bo staff (his is made of wood and can’t be taken apart), kali sticks, and nunchaku. He loves it.

Sorry for the long review, but TLDR the company and product are excellent! But actually, this bag didn't work for me because I assumed (yes,I know now that I should have checked) that my staff would fit, I figured there was a standard size and figured that it should. My long staff is actually 72" so this 60' bag did not quite work out, but I contacted the company (hoping to simply order a 72" one if they made them knowing it was my mistake for not checking, because otherwise I loved the bag). The response I got was very quick and so accommodating! Within hours someone responded that the first batch of 72" bags had just been finished and that even though it wasn't available publicly (they should be soon :) ), and even though I did purchase off of Amazon instead of directly through them, they offered to give me the 72" bag, all I had to do was pay to ship the 60" bag back. In a few days I had the new 72" bag, and it is excellent. I have all of my weapons in one convenient bag and still have room to spare if I need to hold more. Excellent product and excellent service.

It is pretty well made but about $10 more than other bobags. Normally that would be a good trade off. UNFORTUNATELY it is hard to use. It is built to accommodate very long staffs and the bokken pouch is very short. So I have to put my 50 inch Jo and my bokken in the main compartment. The bag is too narrow to reach into with my arm and it only has a flap at the top, so it is hard as the devil to get my bokken out--especially when in a rush. Frankly a cheaper and softer bag would be better for my use even if it wears out at the bottom.

I have been a martial artist for years now. With further training, I have had to add more weapons to my skill set. Having a separate bag for each weapon was just not feasible anymore, so I searched and found this weapon's bag. The order was shipped immediately and arrived quickly. Prior to receiving the package, I had my doubts about whether it would be able to contain all my accessories for class, but once I got it, I was very impressed!! This bag makes it so much easier to get my weapons to and from class! I can fit most everything I need in this one weapons bag. At the moment, I have 3 staffs, 2 sticks, 1 full sized curved dao, and 2 practice knives. It has made getting to and from class so much simpler! I highly recommend this weapons bag to anyone who practices martial arts. Thank you for this bag!!

I am moving and needed to get a travel bag for my multiple weapons. This bag was the most reasonably priced with the best reviews. I only wish it were another 4" longer to fit some of my longer bos. But it did the trick. I would highly recommend.
