Arrived in a timely manner. Got what I paid for. I bought these to be banister rungs in a dollhouse.Just a reminder:When any of your packages come crushed/bent/destroyed - that's the carrier. Not the shipper. Stop leaving bad reviews because something wasn't packaged in a steel box.

They are cute but not really strong.

Came in good holder and were as advertised. Solid tooth picks and one end rounded so wash to carry.

I have been looking for inexpensive scarf/hat pins for a long time, but everything I found was either too big or too flimsy. These are slightly rough, but a minute of sandpaper and a soak in linseed oil (or stain and lacquer) make them perfect pins for lightweight knits. The grooves allow for the addition of tassels or charm decorations and they can be painted to look like magic mini-wands. I have plans to use them as cloak pins with circlets on doll clothes, too. What a versatile bargain!

It is kind of amusing that I am writing a review about toothpicks... but hey, these are review worthy. Yes, I realize that these are over 4 times (!!) more expensive than the generic 99 cent toothpicks, so why bother?Well... these toothpicks are actually really nice looking. I mean, they really do look very cool with what looks like an ornate carving. And these definitely feel more sturdy than the generic 99 cent toothpicks.But still... why bother? When I bring food to an event that needs toothpicks to allow people to eat it without needing a fork, I love using these toothpicks. They stand out and are just a piece of elegance for next to no money. That's why.
