Looking good
The simplicity of the design allows for attachments anywhere without being ostentatious. I like it on my cedar post porch. Easy to install.

Much sturdier than plastic outdoor thermometers
After my second plastic outdoor thermometer got blown out of the holder and shattered on the sidewalk outside my door, I decided I needed something sturdier (and less likely to be blown away). Just follow the directions and put it in a shady spot to get an accurate temperature reading.

Also a wind gauge!!!
This is replacing my digital weather station which the base station stopped reading the outdoor sensor, so at least I can see for sure what the real temperature is, analog style like the old days! When the wind blows it tends to swing the unit around on its mount, which has no friction to stop it no mater how tight the mounting screws are. The included little rubber O rings don't help. So I used a piece of clear packing tape to keep the dial from swing away from the window and facing inward so I can read it. Its small, so mounting it on a porch column is to far away to read it. Mounting on a window jamb makes it read a couple of degrees warmer due to heat from the house escaping through the windows. I knew all this when I bought it but wanted something small so its good enough. So if ;you can live with these little things its just fine. And it will probably work for the next 50 years, unlike anything electronic.

Don't waste your money
Could not give negative stars. Inaccurate right out of the box. Off by 6 degrees+. Mounted on rear window frame in area not subject to sun exposure. I always have had luck with Taylor analog thermometers, but not this time. Also the shaft is not a tight fit on the mount so any wind will move the thermometer face. Bad design, no quality.

Cute unfortunately broke before I could install it
It is small but was very cute , would be attractive outside kitchen windows or the like.as I was preparing to install it , it dropped approximately 5 inches and the glass shattered. In this aspect it is very fragile and must be handled cute cautiously.I cannot attest to it's durability, or performance had it been installed upright. However it was quite attractive.

Easy & Handy Thermometer
It’s hanging outside the garage door. Not in a sunny area. Regular daytime area. It has been very hot here, but, I have not seen any inaccurate temps. It is very lightweight. The metal is lightweight. The gauge probably weighs a few oz. I have it were I can swing it in any direction. It is as the description described.

This product measures warmth. It does not need to be warm, itself.
Perfect size, decent style (for my 100-year old home) and very accurate according to my tests with highly calibrated BBQ thermometers left adjacent. I can read the temp on my porch from inside my home. 10/10.Amazon asked me to rate this product for "warmth." Really? Stop already. It's a thermometer, not a boyfriend. Besides, what if I picked the steel finish? What am I supposed to say then? Can we please stop giving items irrelevant personal characteristics?

attractive case, but inaccurate temperature readings.
Poor quality innards, yielding bad performance of temp readings.

Muy pequeño
Es mas chico de lo que me imaginaba pero pues las medidas no mienten y no me di cuenta, fíjate en el tamaño antes de comprarlo, no vaya a se que te suceda lo mismo

Large numbers are Fahrenheit
Very nice quality and vintage look. I didn't realize the larger numbers were Fahrenheit, so it's harder to see the celsius. Otherwise very nice product.

Looks nice...
Looks nice but it fails at it's one and only function...to accurately show the current temperature. Measured it against thermometers I know to be accurate and it was close at room temperature but inaccurate at higher and lower temperatures. The calibration screw at the back seemed to make no difference at all. Celsius scale hard to read. Other reviews mention the poor quality. I hoped mine would be good but not the case. I am disappointed that Taylor would put their name on this item. I have had several high quality Taylor thermometers for other applications and only had good things to say about them. Time for Taylor to bring their production back from China and restore their quality and good name.
