Simple to use and great performance.....
I bought this mini heat gun primarily for popping bubbles and creating wave effects in my resin projects. I've been using it for a few weeks and so far I'm impressed with it.The 2m cable is plenty to reach from the wall socket to my work table. The body of the heat gun is a really good size for me. I'm a petite woman with small hands but i can hold this comfortably with one hand. It's also lightweight and textured too which helps with grip. There is also a really handy stand attached which can be flipped up or down really easily. This is a great feature since I can just pop the heat gun down on the desk next to me after use knowing the hot end of the heat gun is raised so I won't burn the desk. The simple on/off switch is located at the bottom of the heat gun. Temperature cannot be adjusted and max power is 300w. It reaches high heat really quickly. I only use it in short bursts of 30 seconds or so each time and I've been really happy with its performance. Previously I'd used a long neck lighter for my work but this heat gun is so much easier to use and gives better results. I really wish I'd bought it sooner.

Excellent compact heat gun at a great price!
This is an excellent little heat gun. I repair mobile phones for a living and use this to heat the back glass and for removing batteries. I was using a hairdryer before, but this item gives you more “precision” and also does not cut out when it gets very hot. Bargain price as well. Highly recommend!

A good buy, decent length cable and easy to use with one hand
Reviewed Dec 2020:Bought this as a tool to use when building/restoring fishing rods, specifically to soften varnish and epoxy without being too brutal to the carbon fibre underneath the glue. Its much better than using a cigarette lighter which is what I was previously using. The unit is quite small, a little larger than a toilet roll tube, a little smaller than a kitchen towel one. I can hold it in one hand while holding a rod in the other and use it just fine, and then easily turn it off, put it down (it has an attached wire stand) and crack on with the task while there is still some heat in the epoxy. It is much easier to control and use than a naked flame, I should have got one ages ago.I bought this one because there were positive reviews, and because it has a 2 meter cable, I know a lot of the alternatives that are for sale have a relatively short cable, probably because it was designed to be used at a soldering workstation that has power very close by.Despite a comment from a previous reviewer, I can confirm this does indeed have a 2 meter flex.As commented above, should have bought one ages ago!

Great little Hot Air Gun
This is a great little hot air gun, I use it for re-melting the top of my candles if they are not even and shrink wrapping them before I sell them ... it does the job just fine, the price is great! it is easy to use and just as good as the more expensive ones, I have had it a few months now and it is just as good as they day I bought it
