STAR WARS The Vintage Collection Episode IV: A New Hope ARTOO-DETOO (R2-D2) 3.75"-Scale Action Figure – Collectible

This is a great figure and paint application, really nice card back and displays well.however.... this was shipped in a bubble mailer as seeming to be the norm with figures, so it arrived with a bend in the cardback and a creased top right corner. Gift packaging is a must to get it to arrive undamaged.

R2 is one of my favorite characters from Star Wars. Grandson had a Star Wars party couple weeks ago. Daughter gave me some suggestions of what to get him. When I saw this I knew I had to get it too!

R2 is a must have for fans of the Vintage Collection! He looks great! He has some great weathering and looks like he just finished with Luke in the x-wing destroying the first Death Star. Arrived carefully packaged and in great shape!

This is my first vintage series r2 figure A little pricey for what it originally sold for at $13 but what are you going to do? Need it from my collection

This was greatly taken care of and still looking new I thank you for a great price for this

My son LOVES this! Very happy with his R2. He has little Star Wars vignettes on his wall, and ‘needed’ R2-D2. This one is metal, and has a nice detail. Very authentic. Love that the original manufacturer, Kenner, is still making the classic SW toys.

TROS deserve more 3.75. Even TLJ, we are collectors and there are thousands of figures like Holdo, Leia in Crait, Pryde, Hux, Ghost Luke, Palpatine in every way possible, the Sith Throne, the Knights of Ren, Ackbar, Leia in TROS, Ben Solo, Han Solo, Rey Skywalker... Come on!!!

It was nice that Hasbro used the Build-a-droid sculpt for this release (even though it was also recently used in the Last Jedi 5poa line of figures), & that it checks another figure off the list of the original Kenner figures needing a modern counterpart. The best part of this release is the original Star Wars vintage card look. It immediately takes me back to 1978 when I first got the carded R2-D2 figure. It would be perfect if the actual figure wasn’t so dirty looking. A wash is nice, but muddy is a bit much FOR THIS RELEASE. He should look more like the card image.I have to acknowledge the main issue with purchasing this. Unfortunately it is highly likely that the cardback will be damaged due to being shipped in a bubble envelope. Or even worse put in a small box the wrong orientation.
