Bought them for a Tiny House
I bought these to secure my cabinet doors in my tiny house while I am towing it around. So far no issues, but I'll update if I do.Easy way to install these:1. Loosen both of the tension screws on the stationary (female) part of the lock (1/2 to 1 thread remaining in contact with the female part)2. Figure out where you want to place the stationary (female) part of the lock and screw it down.3. Apply double sided tape (15 lbs worked just fine) to the backside of the male part, and connect the two parts together (consensually ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)4. Close the cabinet door and apply pressure, then slowly open the cabinet door. The male part should be attached to cabinet door.5. Close the cabinet door once more, but this time slowly and ensure that the male part is going where it needs to (it could be off center, so double check before you screw it down.6. If it's where it needs to be, use and awl or knife point to poke directly in the center of the screw slots.7. Remove the double sided tape from the male bracket and screw it down with a screwdriver or a drill on the lowest setting (You might have to adjust your clutch settings).

Firm catch, solidly built, needs to be accurately aligned
I used one of these as a catch for an external screen door. It holds firmly, but is still easy enough to open and close except maybe for a small child or frail elderly person. The tension can be adjusted a bit, but the useful range is close to as far out as the threaded caps can be set without threatening to pop out. That is, you can make the catch very tight, but not very loose. The catch appears to be well made. I am using it to replace several iterations of cheap thin metal spring-and-plastic-roller catches that would rust and snap off. We'll see if the weather affects this catch in some other way; it might eventually need a little oil, for example, but it certainly won't rust (at least the brass parts won't) or break easily. The two parts have to be accurately aligned to close; there is a range of probably only plus or minus 1/8" within which the door part will be guided into position between the two balls of the latch. If the door is very flexible or saggy, or the hinges are very loose, then the user may have to pay a little attention or jiggle it a little to get the two parts to fit together and close. I don't find that to be a problem.

love the adjustable tension
I love the adjustable tension, just remember to tighten one side before mounting if you are mounting close to a corner. Mounting them was a bit trickier than expected but they absolutely do the trick

Using this to keep my rv refrigerator doors closed.
I used two sided tape and a small vix bit to mount these, worked great, they have to be mounted correctly or you will have problems. I am still adjusting the tightness. No problem with the freezer door but I may have to add a second one to the fridge door if I can’t tighten it enough. I believe one will work fine. They look like they came on the fridge. Very happy so far.

They work
Installed on our motorhome cupboards. They would randomly open around turns . The adjustable feature is great. They snap shut and rarely open on the fly. Installing was kind of a pain because they need to be lined up really close to work.

Measure twice, cut once. Precision is essential on the installation.
So these aren't really that hard to install, but you really have to get them placed just right or they will not close and will need realigned. Since it would be difficult to just reposition a little, you probably will need to completely move their position to a new spot. I placed the female receiver first with the male in position on the door. This required having a flashlight with me in the closet and someone keeping the door shut on the outside. Once the female was attached, I traced the edges of the male portion and screwed it in. One issue that made this more difficult is that the female piece blocks tracing the ends of the male piece (this could be resolved if the male piece was a little longer). Installed 8 of these and only had one that didn't allign. You'll know right away when you get a metallic clank instead of a nice click.

Adjustable tension!
Holds our drawers in our camper van perfectly! Nice that one side of the latch can be installed sideways(but be sure to get which side as it only works one way on a side- mount). Nice that tension can be adjusted perfectly. So strong, we only need it on one side of the drawer. Nice quality. We also think it will replace our bin latches, too, when the plastic spring latches break. Thanks for quick delivery!

Not strong enough for vanlife
Almost holds lightweight drawers closed on the road but not quite...
