This has been a life saver. Takes a few minutes to get your depth right but makes a huge difference with drywall.

Excellent Cordless Screw Gun!
I’m a 30 year Union Carpenter and have used screw guns my entire career. I just recently finished my basement and did all the carpentry…duh! I framed the walls and soffits with 25 gauge metal stud and bought this Makita cordless screw gun for the drywall because my old Black & Decker screw gun finally died after sooo many years. This was the best price I found for the gun, even better than big box stores. I used this gun to install 130 boards in my basement and was very impressed with the quality and durability of this gun. Also, if you’re familiar with the old Makita corded guns, they used to be screamers, but this gun is very quite and a pleasure to use. I highly recommend if you are looking for a cordless screw gun. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful addition to your tool arsenal
This thing is incredible. I was worried it wouldn't perform to my expectations but it surpassed them. It works just as well as a corded drywall gun but is light weight and compact to carry. Fits comfortably in your hand and is balanced perfectly. I was highly impressed with its speed, power, and the push drive feature is nice bonus that doesn't slow you down. Had it overnighted for a job we're in the middle of and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend.

The Makita 18V LXT dry wall gun is a top notch screw gun. It is relatively light and does a great job setting screws to the correct depth. I own other Makita tools and prefer this brand due to their outstanding job performance. I would buy this product again.
