I had a hard time choosing between this, I've that had blue, green, grey and tan for the same price, or another listing for the exact same thing as this listing, but better ratings from more people abd a slightly higher price. Ultimately I went with this one because it's too be split between two kids. I plan to get more Legos after Christmas but got them Minecraft sets for now, to go with this. These are exactly as described and should work perfectly with their Legos! I only have one issue. There's a slight defect in one of the grey base plates. I've included pics so you can see it. It's an easy fix with a steady hand and an exacto knife. My husband already fixed it. For the price, you really can't find anything better! I know, I looked! I'll definitely come back to the seller for more! I'll update if we have any issues, but I doubt we will!

I wonder if I got a completely different product than some other reviewers. We purchased these to glue to a homemade Lego table and they are almost too nice to use. They are nice and thick, not warped at all, and Legos fit great on them. Also, the ones we received are molded on the back as well so you can fit Legos to the bottom as well (for some epic tower building!) our only complaint is that we had a couple of the Lego brand ones that we were going to combine these with for the table, and these are nicer than those and too thick to sit side by side with them.

I just bought these to build a Lego table for my son and I am thoroughly impressed. They aligned perfectly.I don't know if the company that makes them changed their molds to make them sturdier, but the plates I received were very sturdy. No warping at all. All of the pieces fit great and they align perfectly together for bigger projects. I would recommend these to anyone looking to save a lot of money on base plates!

Nice plates for custom building

Great set for a great price! I was surprised to find how expensive these LEGO building plates are on amazon when I specifically went looking for them for my LEGO obsessed children! You definitely get a significant overall savings buying this set, and my kids love that it comes with 2 of each of 3 types/colors to build on. I saw some listings for one plate at $12 or $15+ each, but with this set priced at $29.95 when I bought it leaves you paying only $5 per building plate! I definitely need this bulk deal with as many building plates as my kids want! I will be purchasing another set after I leave this review!

I started building a very large LEGO table using the Blue LEGO 620 base plates (LEGO Blue Building Plate (10" x 10")). Sadly, they abruptly discontinued the 620 plate. I bought this pack hoping that they would allow me to finish the table top. Unfortunately, they are not a match to the 620 plates (which are extremely thin). However, these plates are a good quality product regardless. The plastic is solid - the same thickness as a "normal" thin LEGO piece. Definitely compatible with LEGO, and I can't see anything at a glance that obviously distinguishs it from the name brand. It easily mixes in with the rest of the blocks.
