Tape is great, as thick as they say!
This is advertised 5.9 Mil (0.14986 mm) and it measured out .149 without backing.I've had a number of other brands that were not as advertised, this was a joy. Handles easier than the thin tap (doesn't curl like mad).Be careful sliding down an edge (like cutting lengthwise). Wearing gloves for a big job is fine but I had to do fine work, leveling a 3D printer bed. It got me a little in one spot LOL.Worked great for that job!!

Good product for the money. Better than thought
Great option for labeling. Made well. Sticks to surfaces with no remorse and the backing peels relatively easy. I have a tool drawer full of working style tapes and this one definitely is more popular than i would have thought as far as my go-to tape. This isn't tape, it's a tool!

Good product
The tape is thick and easy to work with. I applied the tape where the drywall meets the vents and the adhesion is decent if you apply decent pressure.

Perfect for structural aluminum building
I actually use this tape to assemble live/work cabins out of 12 gauge aluminum panels. It is extremely thick (twice the metal of any other tape on the market) and creates strong, watertight seals. Contrary to what other reviews have stated, it is not at all sharp and you won't get cut using it. It peels off without leaving a residue and the glue is high-quality; you can reseat the tape if needed.

Great care is a must to achieve adhesion.
Foil faced Rockwool used to insulate a smoker made of steal. This tape failed to adhere to the new, clean foil.

Very thick so think about how you will use it
RECOMMENDATION:I rate this tape a ‘BUY’. It has good adhesive and looks nice. It is very thick however, so better used for some applications vs others.THE GOOD:1. Really thick. If you are looking for a very thick, good looking tape then you have it here.2. Good adhesive and holds well.THE BAD:1. If you are looking for typical, thinner tape, you should avoid this product.
