Simply add ground (pork, beef, turkey....your preference), cubed tofu, scallions or green onions before serving. I add a bit of cilantro as well. Quick and easy to make. Tastes great!

I love this product. It make tofu delicious instantly. You just need tofu, ground beef, mushroom and this product. Mix them together and stew it for 15 minutes. Add some green onion at the end. Then, it will make rice taste great with this.

We have ordered several times, and are very happy with the product and shipment. Would buy again, of course.

This is a really great price for mabo tofu! We have lots of Asian grocery stores in our area and this is by far the best price I have ever seen.

It has been a lot of years since I bought Mabo Tofu sauce or powder. The supermarkets no longer carry it and the 99 Ranch Market within easy driving distance closed down. However, I remember there used to 2 packages in a box versus the one package in this purchase. The taste is basically the same, but I bought a hotter, spicier version so that I could water it down for less salt per servings. Instead of the 4 servings, I get over 10 servings and still get the same unique taste. Perhaps, I will get the motivation to make it from scratch, but I tend to get lazier as I get older. I liked the 10-box price of under $35 but noticed that it is closer to $40 as I write this review. Having 1 package make over 10 tofu meals is a bargain in my opinion since I will get over 100 meals from this 10-box purchase. I guess as a senior citizen, watering down the product keeps the sodium and carb content very low per serving. Fortunately, growing up on a Cantonese diet, I do not like my food very hot and spicy so the adding of additional water makes it closer to what my taste buds prefer.

One of my favorite dishes to make and it only needs ground pork, green onions and tofu!
