Barbie Collector Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen Doll

I got this for my daughter, I thought maybe she would keep it as a collector's item but it has turned out to be a favorite companion. She takes it with her everywhere she goes. I was amazed by the attention to detail in the bow and arrows and how well made everything from the figure itself to the clothing. I have to say this particular figure was worth every penny and we are looking at getting more from this line to add her her collection. I would recommend this figure any day of the week. Oh, and it comes with a really nice stand for displaying as well as a certificate so great as a collector's item or a childhood fave toy :)

Bought this for my daughter who is currently obsessed with The Hunger Games. I did not intend to keep as a Collector, so we took her out of the box. Very detailed. She has her bow and arrow and even the Mockingjay pin on her jacket. I love that the doll still looks like Barbie and that they didn't try to make her look like the actress from the movie. I'm not sure if Barbie Collector has made any other characters but if they have, I want them. Excellent quality that you can expect from the Barbie line. She also came with a stand to hold her and is completely bendable in her arms, wrists and knees.

My 11 year old daughter (and myself) are rabid Hunger Games fans. I got this for her as a Christmas present. When I opened the box I was thrilled. It does resemble the actress that played Katness a little. It does still have the Barbie doll glam look but not so much as to be too much. I was expecting the typical generic Barbie face so I am pleased. She hasn't come out of the box but I can see that her accessories are on the delicate side. We will be keeping this away from my daughters 2 year old twin syblings that's for sure! I already know that this will be my oldest's prized Barbie. The best part it the anticipation-i can't wait to see my daughter's face on Christmas monring! She doesn't even know they make a Katness doll. She is going to be over the moon. The outfit is perfect and the bow and arrows really complete the doll and make it Katness and not just a generic Barbie.

The Hunger Games, while centred with a fight for your life theme now has a doll to represent a great series - a series of Books that I believe is one of the best out there. Probably not to everyone's liking which is a usual case of all things, but to me, it was done right. This item arrived in a speedy manner and luckily a box that was not damaged at all. My luck with damaged boxes and items hasn't been the best lately, however this, to my excitement arrived in one piece. A beautiful doll, a perfect size and a fabulous addition to any fans collection.

I am a Barbie lover and I also love both the book and the movie The Hunger Games. So when I saw this doll I fell in love with it, however, the discription and the doll are two very different things. First this doll's discription said that it was a likeness of the lead female actress in the movie and it also said that the doll had all of the added items that Katniss would have had in the movie. Well, first off the doll does not look like the actress I mean it is close but it is not the actress, and second, it does have the bow and arrows and her outfit but it does not include the backpack that she had in the movie. All in all the doll is nice but it is not the complete package. This is the second time that I got one of the newer Barbies and the second time that my expectations were not fully met. The Barbies of today are a far cry from the ones even 10 years ago. I just hope that my next purchase is a really good one.

This doll is absolutely stunning, and is truly identical to Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss. The pin on the coat is so detailed and recognizable, and her arrows and bow are delicate and well-made. Overall, I'm glad my money went to this doll and I would buy her again for another person. It's spectacular, and I enjoy posing her and arranging her arrows in her bow. She comes with a certificate of authentication and a doll stand.

This doll is very pretty and well made. She came with three arrows and a wonderful bow. She was a bit hard to get out ofher box but I love her!I think any Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter fan like me would love love love her! She is much more beautiful than her picture.And her bow can shoot the arrows.I don't know much about Hunger Games because I'm nine, but when I found out Amazon had a lower price than the toy store I bought her.

Ordered this doll along with a few other items (all presents for others), and I opened the box to find everything stacked haphazardly on top of each other. The Katniss doll looks pretty nice (though there's a weird, though subtle, mark on her face that must have gotten there before she was packaged in her box)... The main issue was that the BOX itself was torn and bent where it reads "BARBIE® COLLECTOR BLACK LABEL" on the bottom and looks awful and cheap as a result.This might not matter to most people, but I bought this Barbie for an avid collector who has no intention of taking her out of the box, which means it's important that the box look as pristine as possible. The plastic of the box is also scratched from interaction with other items during shipment, and is covered in fingerprints as well.Come on, Amazon. Please put a little more effort into how you package grouped items. I'll be returning this and PRAYING that I can get another one in better "boxed" condition, since it'll be the only item in the box.
