This thing is awesome. I bought it for use with live fire, but it makes dry fire way more fun and challenging. Im mostly looking forward to using it to develop accurate ammunition. No more guessing you pulled a shot now you have the numbers to prove it.

I’m preparing for Law Enforcement firearms instructor school. The Mantis X has been very helpful in keeping and improving on my shooting skills. As an NRA instructor I highly recommend this as a supplement to training.

After just 150 dry fire rounds i could see improvement in grip and aim. Great device to save rounds while still improving technique

Only had it for a couple of weeks but I see why shooters really like the system. I feel it's pointed out my weak points while saving on ammo and range trips.

This is a great training aid. I have always incorporated dry fire training as part of my firearms training regimen. This Device enhances dry fire training adding tips, training suggestions, and records performance to monitor your progress. It also measures very small movements in your grip and trigger pull that you may not notice without it. So it's a more objective feedback on how well your training is going.There are some cons though. On some of my guns it confuses other movement for a trigger pull. For example if you have a thumb safety with a stiff detent, or a very light trigger pull. I have several guns to choose from and it works great with some and unusable with others. But what if you only own one gun? This could be a problem if your gun has one of these issues and there really isn't any way to know before you purchase.Another problem is that it doesn't perform well under live fire training. There is a version that is only $99 on the manufacturer website. If I had it to do over I would buy that version since paying extra for the live fire capability is not really worth the additional cost. Unfortunately this is the only version I saw on Amazon.Overall it's a good product and makes dry fire training more effective and more fun too.

Works very well

This is the best move I made. It was easy to install and use. Since I bought the gun I wanted to be a responsible owner. I have not used the gun yet because of the expense for ammo and range. This product will train me so I can hone my skills enough to make it economic feasible to use the range. Best product ever.

This is an incredible tool for practicing your grip and trigger pull. This lets you see in real time how your firing process affects your accuracy. I've been shooting my whole life and have never had such a drastic improvement from just range time. The feedback from this is invaluable for shooters looking to improve, or even beginners.
