Starred reviews hardly work with pet food
The primary reason to give any pet food its "star" rating is based on whether the pet eats it.Our cats eat some Weruva flavors, and not others. You'll find the same challenge and have to experiment.I chose the brand because some of their options have lower phosphorus, and it's one of the few brands that lists such information on its web site in both an "as eaten" and "dry matter" basis. And, again, my cats will eat it.It's produced in Thailand, but if I were to research where every pet food was made I'm sure I'd find similar outcomes, and when your pet has a health issue you choose what they will eat and what you feel will extend their lives, and hope it's safe for them.I did some research, but most information you find on any product is spun out by the company, so you dig as much as possible for independent assessments and hope for the best. Most cats develop kidney disease, and I have tossed more Science Diet than has been eaten by the seven cats I have had. A "prescription" diet isn't any good if you have to starve your cat to eat it, and I have learned that 7 out of 7 cats will not eat Science Diet. Some Weruva foods are lower, but not low, in protein. Some of this brand's flavors are lower, but not low, in phosphorous. Lower than most of what is found on a grocer's shelf. All of that food might be fine if your cat doesn't have kidney disease.Out two cats will eat some flavors of Weruva. It's trial and error, and the best way to start is find a pet food store that sells it, buy a few cans and see what works. This stuff isn't cheap, and it's too bad pet food companies can't develop moderately-priced food for animals with health issues. But then the CEO couldn't get that third house and another Jaguar. If your cat is healthy, I would still recommend Weruva, although I've had vets tell me they fed their cats Fancy Feast. But, at least these days, all the Fancy Feast options, including beef, contain fish. If you cat doesn't tolerate fish and yaks up beef Fancy Feast, the fish ingredient might be why.

Pleasantly surprised
Wanted to add some variety to my cats’ diet. That had gotten a little bored with the usual canned food and I also wanted something that would add hydration to their diet. My neighbor who runs a pet rescue recommended this brand and gave me a few cans to try. My cats loved it and ate it all! So I have added this to their regular brands I feed them. Will definitely be buying more.

Oh my gravy is right!
My cats, I have 5 currently, all hate chicken whether it is dry or wet food but these have the poultry and even beef mixed in with some yummy tuna and lots of gravy and they are eating it up and licking their little bowls clean. Wet food is just a little treat at dinner time, I had been splitting 1small can of Reveal between the 5 of them and loads of Iams dry food but this is such a good price that I may start splitting 2 cans 5 ways. They love it so much that they actually slap their bowls to try to get my attention.

My cat loves this
My cat was recently diagnosed with kidney disease so I've had to change her food. She was previously eating a few of the other Weruva wet foods but they're on the "no" list now. She has been less than impressed with the new foods that I've introduced. Thankfully, she loves these ones. There are three different flavors which are all low phosphorus enough for her. I'm really happy with these foods. I've always enjoyed the quality of Weruva and I'm glad that I can feed her these and that she'll eat them.

Kinda Gross
Bought this for my picky eater as a dry food meal topper and it seemed like maybe she liked it at first but then refused to eat it. It has a weird smell and the texture is just plain gross. Definitely more gravy than meat. Gave my cat constant diarrhea.

My picky cat loves it and leaves nothing behind!
My picky cat loves this food! He only leaves tiny, little bits of meat behind when he's done, which doesn't happen often. Great price and it comes in a 5.5 oz can. My cat is an 18-20lb cat so the 5.5 oz cans are necessary. Only complaint I have (but my cat doesn't seem to mind) is that I wish it had a little more meat to the gravy ratio. But for the quality and price, this is well worth it.

Watered Down
I have purchased this flavor and texture of food in-store without issue, but I purchased from Amazon to get some bulk and save a bit. The formula was super watered down and runny. More like a broth than a gravy and my cat was not a fan of this different watery texture.
