I dislike that the rulers are thin. The markings are easy to read. They store flat and have been helpful. I have not had any break, however they are flimsy. The kit comes with several rulers and is a good deal for the price as long as you aren’t seeking high quality equipment.

Before buying I didn't have idea how big this package would be, because on the website it looked small, but now I realize that size is enough with the longer ruler measuring 55 cm. Very complete set of rule, very good printing marks and numbers and plastic is flexible. 100% satisfied.

Best tool for a beginner sewing student

My old set of curves and rulers have been less in the shuffle of moving houses multiple times over the years and a needed a new set to teach my students with. This set is cost effective enough that I can recommend it to my students and it will be sturdy enough to last them a while until they decide they want to upgrade their tools. The cost is also low enough that they dont feel guilty if it turns out that sewing and costume making are not for them. Obviously, a metal set would be much more durable and would last a lifetime, but the ability to see through the plastic to the fabric and easily make adjustments is extremely helpful. I've also used several for with my Olfa rotary cutter and have not had any problems with catching the plastic. Overall I think it's a good buy for someone beginning with sewing and tailoring and who wants to try new tools but not break the bank to do so.

I bought this product with the idea of them replacing my old French curve set (I am a current apparel design student). Over all the curves and quality of the curves are great they are incredibly sturdy and very flexible . That being said on the flat ruler the measurements do get hard to follow at some points because of how all the lines are the same thickness . This isn’t that big of an issue and is easily remedied by counting the 1/8s of an inch within the inch markings, but it has led me to mess up more often because of it. I also wasn’t expecting the rulers to be all in the metric system.
