Great epoxy
I used this two-part epoxy to repair broken pieces of my capodimonte porcelain chandelier. Two of the arms broke off when a tree fell on my house two years ago. This epoxy is absolutely fantastic. The quick drying time is amazing and within 10 minutes the adhesion was strong enough to hold and dry without additional clamps or bands. I was greatly impressed.

Works great for outdoor concretet STINKY, tips clogs easily
I needed to reattach some flaking cement blush on my patio. Areas with surface cracking and I needed the glue to dry clear and be strong. I was advised this product would be the best. It really does work well, and has withstood the elements and the test of time. Use in well ventilated area, as this stink will last and last in the trash in your house etc. That being said, it worked well for my outdoor use, but does not work well for indoor use. You have to mix it, and for fine applications, just does not cut it. Set time is long, if you are working on a smaller project. The tips clog after second use, and then it gets to be a trial, but the glue in the tube is still liquid. Best for outdoor use. I would buy for that purpose again, as after a year, still holding the concrete together nicely.

Know what you're buying here. This is for hobbyists and small repairs.
I love the JB Weld 5 min and 1 min epoxies because I have very small projects that I don't want to use clamps or tape for and wait 12 hours to set. The times on the package are accurate -- you get about 60 seconds to work with the "1 Minute" product, in other words, but it will need to fully dry over night. You won't need anything to hold it in place, though, because after 60 seconds, it's clear sludge and not 'workable.'I see a lot of the negative reviews are either A) "it didn't bond X to Y" or B) "it didn't withstand heavy use" or C) "it never set." If it didn't bond your items, it might be a function of the smoothness of what you're trying. Something porous like glass or metal to wood will work very well. Metal to plastic will also work very well. But two smooth surfaces like glass to glass will yield a less desirable result, like perhaps epoxying the glass handle that broke from a glass water pitcher. Whether your project survives heavy use is a function of how much epoxy you use. I wanted to glue my child's backpack strap to the pack (the stitches ripped). That's both heavy use and a bit of a risk that cloth to cloth won't hold. So I used an entire tube which worked well. People expecting to use two or three dabs to hold a car door on will be disappointed because surface area matters. As for people saying it never set, they probably somehow got defective tubes that both had glue and no hardener. Or they failed to mix the product (which, admittedly, you do not have a lot of time to do). I recommend trying the JB 5 minute if you need to position small things juuuuust right and the JB 1 minute if you can put your items into place without needing to spend time adjusting them.

Smelly epoxy
This epoxy sets good but has an unnatural chemical smell to it. Think before you buy this because if you use no protection, you may become prone to side effects. If you do use JB Weld 1 Minute epoxy or any other epoxy, please wear a gas mask and protection as this does contain harsh chemicals, please use caution! Have fun and keep in mind your safety always!!
