Peppa Pig: George Catches A Cold Paperback – International Edition, December 14, 2012

While there are many ways to catch a cold, this books uses a common favourite, that is, playing in the rain. I know this may not sit well with some parents for its oversimplification but it is straightforward enough for a toddler to understand what it means and takes to fall sick. My daughter was also able to compare the rain clothes the little pigs had on and the umbrella the parents were holding. She doesn't like to sleep even when she is sick so reading that George had to stay in bed made her realise that rest is what everyone needs to feel better. It was one of the better books from Peppa in my opinion.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves Peppa Pig! This is a nice addition to her collection.

My 4 year old son loves this book. He's asked me to read it to him every night for two weeks!

It takes a story directly from the show, but without some of the pacing or flow. However, my kids enjoy it and seem to follow it better for having been familiar with the episode this pulls from. As long as my very young kids are taking an interest in reading and appear to be developing a sense of story structure, then I can't really complain. I have read both much worse and better kids books.

Our grandson loves peppapig. We got him the ty George beanie babyto go with this book. Also, it seems that he is prone to getting colds in daycare. Seems a perfect story to have

It was a great little book. My 7 year old reads it to my 3 year old.

If your kids like Peppa and George... can’t go wrong. I wish the story included more about how to avoid getting sick. Wash hands, cover your cough, etc. My girls adore Peppa Pig, so they love it. Just wish it could have helped Mom and Dad out a little more.
