RCR Crystal Adagio Collection 7-Piece Whiskey Set

These added beautifully to my stemmed cordial glasses of the same pattern (Adagio). I'm really sad that RCR/Lorenzo is not going to be making this pattern anymore. They are gorgeous and unique-they have a lined pattern along them that sets them apart from all other faceted glassware and I get so many compliments on how different and pretty they are. The double old fashioned glasses are perfect for cocktails and the decanter holds an entire bottle of spirit. I am not thrilled with the stopper-it is NOT airtight so for long term storage your liquor will evaporate. It is also somewhat lacking in comparison to the beauty of the bottle, it is plain and seems generic. I will have some custom stoppers fashioned for the decanters I have from this set and it will really elevate them. For the price, yo can not go wrong. I will be getting another set if I ever see them pop up for sale again.

I read several reviews about how the set coming broken... They obviously took that problem and solved it as the whiskey set I received came bubble wrapped in the original RCR Crystal box, that box was bubble wrapped into another box, and that box had packing paper and other packing wrap inside a really big box. Lol! I laughed when I opened all the boxes up and saw there was yet another box to open.. But I was happy to see that the whiskey set did not come damaged so I didn't have to exchange it for a new one. My boyfriend was even happier to see it!!! It's high quality and a very very nice set. The only downfall that I have also heard others say, is that the picture makes it appear like it's a smokey gray color when in all reality it's clear crystal -- which I knew before I purchased it -- and it's exactly what we were looking for. Great buy!

The decanter was the only item that was shipped. It was shipped in a box that was large enough for the decanter and glasses yet the glasses were mysteriously missing. I then later found out, as I had purchased it as a gift that the decanter isn't even the same one as pictured on the box or on this posting. Amazon really dropped the ball on this set.

The stopper does not fit the decanter and falls off.I have tried contacting Lorenzo 5 times regarding a solution, leaving messages as no one bothers to answer the phone. No one has replied, or called back from Lorenzo either. Very poor customer service.As the stopper falls off, the decanter cannot be used. It sits back in it's box, packed away.As nice as the decanter looks, I would not recommend buying one.

I received a liquor decanter and 6 stem glasses very different from the whiskey set I ordered.The packaging appeared to have been opened and re-sealed, as if this confusion had occurred before.I've asked for a replacement set of what I ordered. We'll see what I get.UPDATE: On the second try, I got the product I ordered. I'm pleased with the quality. I've increased my rating to 3 stars. The product itself is worthy of 4 stars - it's the service that degrades the experience.

I had read all of the reviews, and saw a few that stated they had gotten incomplete or incorrect sets, but other than those poor reviews that were 2 years old, the most current reviews seemed great. I took the newer reviews as a sign that the company had gotten their stuff together and purchased this set for my husband's birthday. It arrived the day of his party so I was very excited that I had gotten it in time, only to be severely disappointed immediately upon opening the box to reveal that I had been sent a Liqueur decanter set instead of a whiskey set. So unfortunately, I had to show my husband what he was NOIT getting for his birthday, and then show him online what he WAS suppose to get. I immediately went to Amazon and requested the new one sent, which took another week to arrive. It kind of ruins the excitement and surprise when you get the wrong gift.SO... on to the Whiskey Set. New set arrived a week later and it was exactly what I had hoped it would be. Beautifully classy whiskey set that any man would like to add to his bar. My husband was very excited to get it. So even with the ordeal of getting the correct set, it was worth it.I would just say Buyer Beware if you are buying this with the intent to get it as a gift. Give yourself enough time to send it back and receive the correct one.

This was purchased for a Christmas gift exchange. Needless to say, it was 'stolen' multiple times before finding a home in the last round. VERY well made, shipped securely and beautiful. My husband really wanted this one after he saw it come in the mail. Enjoy!

I got this as a Valentines Day / Birthday gift for my boyfriend, and he LOVED it! He couldn't wait to try them out! They look clear and crisp, but do have some weight to them. I received my complete order with not one broken, missing, or damaged piece!
