Q: Is this machine washable?

No. It can be vaccummed or hosed off. I spray it off in the shower with a hand held shower head. I own 3 and love them. I also pick it up and pour the loose litter back in the litter box. works great!!

i had the same issue with an older cat. would poop in the box but pee on my carpet. i put pee pee pads everywhere and she would not use them. i was shampooing carpet 3 times a day to catch it while it was still wet. Finally I gave it to the Lord because I didnt want to get rid of her. so i put pee pee pad by the bathroom again and she started using them from then on. God is good. I lost her 2 yrs later to old age, she was 20 and her sister passed just 16 hrs earlier. Good luck!

I don't know what country of origin,but I can tell you this litter mat works. I have dark hardwood floors and was constantly cleaning up litter because every little piece showed.
