Father Amorth: My Battle With Satan
Father Amorth is an experienced priest, holy man, and battles evil spirits for the Roman Catholic Church! His experience and stories are legendary in the Catholic Church. This book shows what happens and how it is so important to pray to God and be holy to avoid the devil’s temptations. Good read!

Read this before you see “The Pope’s Exorcist”
This book is an interview with the exorcist Fr Gabriel Amorth, SSP, and the subject of this new 2023 film. The books has several enlightening interviews with people who knew Fr Amorth (he died in 2016.) The film is being promoted as a horror film and I’ve only seen the trailer so far, and it looks scary enough. The book, instead, fills in Fr Amorth’s back story and this is important to know: his spirituality, faith, love and devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus. Also, how he came to be an exorcist is explained in his own words. A very good read.

Q&A format
While not riveting prose, it none the less delivers a faith reaffirming content. I’ll be looking for more by and about Fr. Amorth

Fr Amorth For Sainthood
This is not a book that tells a bunch of stories about exorcism, though stories are interspersed throughout. Instead the focus is on the condition of suffering experienced by the thousands who went to Fr Amorth and how he alleviated their pain. A great more detail is given as to Fr Amorth the man, his isolation in his personal life and his wonderful spirit. The first half is his interview and the second half interviews with people who knew him and the impact he had on them. I'm walking away with a much better understanding of the pain those afflicted with obsession and possession go through. The world lost an amazing human being when he passed on. No doubt he will be canonized with time. God bless you Father.
