I bought this cheese powder because of a new recipe that asked for this. I love it. The flavor is not as strong as Kraft cheese, but it is still pretty good. I like the flavor! Its very convenient to have. I am looking forward to using it in a bunch of new recipes.10/10 recommend!

For an everyday product for a young person, DELICIOUS! I prepared with butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste. Came out fantastic and cost me less than Kraft Mac-n-Cheese.Sorry about the picture, it's almost gone. Lol!I'll purchase again.This IS NOT FOR THE SOUTHERN FAMILY DINNER....This is for school nights!(Cousins, You get the hint)

I eat Mac-n-cheese like I’m a school kid.I decided to buy this product.It does not taste like Kraft Macaroni and cheese sauce but it’s a great 2nd.It’s milder, not as tangy but super creamy not soupy when mixed with butter and milk.I probably won’t purchase again but it’s really not too bad of a substitute.If you buy your own pasta this will definitely save you lots of money.

For me, this product didn't have a lot of flavor; it didn't taste very cheesy. The color and texture were okay, but I didn't taste a lot of cheese.

As adults we don't eat as much packaged Mac n Cheese as we did when you were younger, or when our kids were little and still at home. I like to think our tastes have improved over time. But, sometimes you just need a pile of good old Mac n Cheese to go with burgers, hot dogs or as a stand alone meal. Ok, so I started making 3 boxes at once so that we had left overs, or if our Grandkids we're staying over. But, I would add the cheese packet from a 4th box along with 4 slices of American cheese to really punch up the cheese flavor. Everyone loved it, and after making 3 batches this way I had the extra macaroni available to make macaroni salad! I read up on this cheese powder and decided to give it a try. Man, it's really tasty and punches up the cheese flavor a ton! It's easy to use and not too expensive. I haven't tried it to make other items, but I can't see how it wouldn't work. I get rave reviews for my Mac n Cheese now. When I make my triple batch I use 3 level tablespoon scoops of this cheese powder and mix it in when I'm mixing the powder included in the packages. I increase the milk (I use whole milk to cook) by 1/4 cup and still melt the 4 slices of pre-sliced American cheese as I melt the butter. Yes, butter, not margarine. Give it a try. You'll get a thumbs up from all your cheeseaholics as they wolf down your Ubber Cheesy Mac n Cheese! Enjoy eating like a kid, or College student, again.

Let me start out by saying that I wasn’t buying this to substitute or make my own sauce, I just like to add a little extra to what they give you in the box. And I’m not that picky about what kind of cheese powder it is specifically, I’ve used a few different kinds and each are sufficient to up the cheesiness a little bit. I read the non-glowing reviews of this product and still wanted to give it a chance, thinking that maybe these reviewers just had very high, hard-to-meet expectations, and I would still be perfectly happy.Ha. I was wrong. The references to sawdust and flour in the other reviews were not far off. They clearly need something to dye orange in order for you to think there is any resemblance to cheese flavor whatsoever. Because in truth, there is not. The only discernible flavor is salt, but salt with a chalky aftertaste. I’m glad I only mixed it in a bowl of macaroni, instead of ruining the entire pot.Oh, and the foil seal was not sealed at all, just completely loose and inside the cap when I unscrewed it to peel it off. In fairness, it didn’t look as if it had been tampered with, it looked totally intact, but just like it had never been attached to the jar. So, I don’t know which is worse, that the quality control is so poor that they aren’t sealing their products properly, or the possibility that it could have been opened, tampered with, and still sent out.I rolled the dice, and it was not worth the $9 paid for it, as it’s going straight into the garbage. I know some reviews said they or their spouse were thrilled with/can’t get enough of this, but I have to assume that there is something seriously flawed with their tastebuds. As someone with a pretty low bar in terms of flavor expectations, this was awful. Literally any other choice in powdered cheese you make is probably going to be better. If you’re like me and still wanna try it, best of luck!

Perfect for small portions of pasta. Sprinkle a little on with some butter. Hmmmmm delicious.
