In a 5 cube box tuned to 28hz this sub sounds fantastic, running on 300 watts I wouldn’t go more than that though, fs of 33, soft suspension nice magnet, this sub is for sound quality not spl. I own a skar sdr, svr, EVL, ddx, and vfx, and I’ve had the lanzar max, this sub has better sound quality than all of them. Not a power house but very nice sound quality. In a good box on low power it’s great. Can’t beat it for the price. You can get loud on low power with stock electric. I’m gonna buy one more. Can’t believe the sound quality, and take it from me I own alpine, harman kardon, Bose, and I’ve had sundown, so this thing for $68 can’t be beat. Just know what it is. It’s not 2000 watts. It’s not 1200 or anywhere near that, on 300 though it’s perfect.

Great price!!Only downside to this was it didnt come with a grill to cover it like some subs do but i can just build my own

Smells burned even below the advertised power rating.I ordered 2 of these. The 1st one was an open box and was totally unusable. The speaker is missing the terminals and both cables are also missing. The speaker looks heavily used and was dirty/very dusty.2nd speaker I bought was brand new. It looks great but unfortunately it didn’t even last a few days and it already smells like burned wire.Both speakers were returned to amazon. I bought a Rockville 15 Destroyer and very happy with it so far

Only had this speaker for 1 day. Literally ONE DAY pushing 600 watts rms at 2 ohms, blew a coil also was overheating my amp. I consider this to be false description because they fail to list any WATT RMS RATINGS! I recommend 300 watts rms because apparently 600 was too much and I don't believe 1200 is peak power. Makes no sense to have a 300 to 400 rms to 1200 PEAK! NO WAY. NEVER ASSUME. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. Possibly costing me about $80 or more to get the coil fixed, stereo stores not even sure if it can be fixed due to how old it is and specially ordered coils!!!! I just got a refund and am considering spending the extra 30 to 40 dollars on a Skar or Kicker. My amp runs 300w at 4 ohms, would've been nice if I would have tried that first, but I did the 600 watts at 2 ohms. Oh well. Overall you get what you pay for and some if you run the proper watts, just be careful with what watts you're pushing on it and I think it will last. Do research and double check your amp ratings, most amps list peak powers on the amp and never rms, easy to find stuff like that online tho. Ohms matter as well for example mine at 2 ohms resistance pushed around 600w rms BUT (what I should have done with this sub lol) 4 ohms resistance pushes around 300w rms.

These are not expensive so many people will not care for these properly, I ran two of them on a true 3k, gains set right never got hot on me or smelly but I don't over exert my equipment, these sound pretty good 8/10 on sound they hit the highs well and are VERY punchy they get low for 15s but not super low. Made for music enjoyment not really an SPL woofer

I have a 5 channel amp arc audio 200 rms on the sub at 2ohm its its says 1500 watt..ingnore that number it's the rms continous power that your supposed to look at, but I'm sure it's like 300 or a little more, if you put a 1000 watt rms amp to it your gna fry it. Get the specs to the sub and find the box that is supposed to go too. over all great sub .research on car audio install and how to match the right amp for the sub..and the gain is not a volume control knob.

Could not handle the power I was getting it and I wasn't even giving it more than the power I can handle the speaker start buzzing but Amazon gave me my money back and let me keep the speaker the cheaper one for 40 bucks is better because when you burn it you can take the cone off pull the speaker out push the burn mark back in and then you can use the speaker again
