Cat Odor-Off can be used in a steam cleaner. However for our product to be effective it needs to come in contact with the source of the odor. Some steam cleaners might not get deep enough to reach the urine source if it has had time to penetrate deep into the carpet. It might be more effective to saturate the area first with Cat Odor-Off and then go over the top with the steam cleaner to remove the stain.

Yes, I use it on my covered patio. It helps considerably. Of course, if it rains or you water the area it will be diluted. I spray my patio furniture with no ill effects.
