the wood shaft is beautiful. I do agree the tip is very small ...
I was pleasantly surprised with this cane when it came. I read other reviews and was a little concerned, but the brass casting is well made and aside from a few small pinholes that were filled, the wood shaft is beautiful. I do agree the tip is very small and probably will not hold up well but it is a decorative cane.

Very nice and long enough for guy to 6'
Wonderful two piece cane that is just about right for someone 5' 9" to maybe 6'. Longer than the 36" one I purchased before which is a good thing. I got it for a friend when I discovered the Eagle head cane I purchased was really just the eagle head, my bad for not reading, so this has a detachable head and the eagle can be used. However once my wife saw it she wants me to get one as well. Which I will in the future.

Beautiful but could have bought it for less.
Beautiful handle … using it as part of a Medusa costume.

From cane to walking stick
The metal handle is made well and is sharp looking. The wood shaft seems like it could be stronger plus a rubber head on the tip.

Excellent came.
Sturdy, looks expensive with good contact with the ground.

Not a base it’s a tip. Stylish maybe. Not for therapeutic use.
If you are buying a cane for therapeutic use do not buy this one. “Made from the finest wood, A rubber base for traction will help you walk smart on city streets” the rubber base is not a base, it is a tip and did not make it on my small residential street 4 houses down and 10 minutes. The tip was degraded upon return home, is very small, and not useful. The tip is also too small for true stability if you need some, might be good to assist with balance. I gave the cane 1 star for appearance, yes it is slightly stylish. Could be great for a Halloween costume party. I bought the for my son after his car wreck to be able to ditch the one crutch. At 18 and needing a cane for a couple weeks, we were hopeful. I am dropping it off for my return tomorrow and already bought another cane with a base for, just had to pay a bit more. You get what you pay for.

Classy
6’1” 242lbs on my second week of rehab after a total right knee replacement. Cane is a perfect fit. It works as good as it looks.

Walking stick is substantial and arrived as promosed
Design was fine and will serve its purpose. The end of brass handle was discolored and looked poorly finished. It does not impact the functionality of the stick, it just looks like a second. It is disappointing in that regard but not worth the effort of returning the item.
