Does contain MSG
MSG makes broth tasty but I try to avoid . I do like this the taste and ease of use , makes a nice cup of soup with miso .

Nice seaweed flavor.
This is a product thats mostly labeled in I think Korean but the basics info is on it in english. Not too hard to figure out how to use, add one packet to about 3 cups water, I love it for making my own ramen.

I feel like a fool for not reading reviews
As others have stated the first ingredient is MSG and is following by a warning about exposure to carcinogens such as cadmium. I made the mistake of taking this item at face value based off of the multiple positive reviews. This is poison and it immediately went in the trash!

Great Umami addition
I use this "konbu" powder for cooking many Japanese dishes, but also I add it into my soup. It doesn't matter what ethnic soup I am cooking, this konbu dashi makes the soup flavorful. I am glad that I can buy this product online.

Perfect for miso soup!
I use one packet in ~1.7 liters of water (~7 cups). Add a generous amount of miso paste and boom, perfect miso soup. If too strong, add a bit more water to the bowl after dished out.

Healthy & Tasty
I keep these packets around for a quick & delicious soup anytime. I just add boiling water & add my collagen. Adding tofu & Seaweed (wakame) is great soup with a meal. Also use it as a base for noodles.
