Works Great!
I bought this for a 4,500 sq. ft. storage building that has had a humidity problem. After running it overnight, no more humidity problem. It works very fast, takes a lot of water out of the air quickly, is quiet, and has good controls (I did not get the Wi-Fi version). This is one of the best pieces of equipment I have ever purchased.

30x50 metal building - works great
Have a “shop” 30x50’ mild insulation that got high humidity occasionally and this unit brought it down easily (see chart). Don’t bother trying to get the WiFi feature to work. The app is terrible. See reviews on that in App Store. But the machine turns off completely when not running and remembers last setting if you control a plug remotely like I do. Pumps water into my shop sink nicely. Put some orange flagging tape on exhaust port with a Wyze cam and you can watch/control it that way. We’ll see what my electric bill is eventually. But the humidity control is pretty good.Update after 1+ month: this machine is a beast at humidity removal - see pic with circles around the %’s. It rained hard but nice and dry in there. Electric bill change was unnoticeable.Update month #3; no noticeable electric bill effect and still holds the shop at 47% humidity when it’s raining outside. Pretty impressive.Update month #7. Love this thing. I spend 0 time screwing with it. Just keeps shop dry. 90° in there feels mostly pleasant at 48% humidity. Can go lower but my eyes would crack.Final update: jumping on here to provide a final update about 11 months after I purchased it. This thing is a true workhorse and much better than I expected since I’ve thrown away so many dehumidifiers. It keeps an entire 1500 square-foot building at a very precise humidity level without even trying. I have had to mess with it exactly 0 times.

This dehumidifier is a work horse!
This has been going strong for us. Sucks the moisture out of our basement like a champ! No issues! This replaced a basement dehumidifier that didn’t even last a year from another company, also an Amazon purchase. Can’t say enough good things about this one. Very happy with it!

Keeps Humidity at 50% WITHOUT FULL ENCAPSULATION in my CRAWLSPACE !!
I have a crawl space about 1500 square feet and 10 standard wall vents to outside and my humidity was reading 87 to 94% in N. Georgia area.... I have plastic on the floor over gravel and not taped and 4 cement block pillars and cement walls on 3 sides and wood with brick exterior on one side. I did NOT want to encapsulate the area for the EXPENSE needed.... I closed the vents (sliding plastic) and not air tight....and I installed this dehumidifier ALORAIR Commercial Dehumidifier with Pump Drain Hose, 180 Pint Large Capacity Crawl Space) and the humidity went down from 87 % to 70% in 2 days and down to 50% in 4 days!! It has kept it there and runs about 1/2 the time since. I attached the plastic tubing into a pipe that runs outside from my home air conditioner by drilling a 1/4" hole and just pushing the tubing into the hole about 8 inches.... I do not know how long it will work but I am thrilled that the moldy smell and high humidity is no longer there and accomplished with 1) plastic on entire floor of crawl space (not taped down and no wall or column coverage with plastic), 2) closed the sliding vents (ten of them), 3) and installing the ALOAIR commercial Emergency Dehumidifier with 110V and pumped outside discharge of the water....I am thrilled ! I just hope it continues to run...It is larger than I expected about 2 feet long by 18 inches tall by 16 inches wide but I just sat it on a stable table and plugged it in and ran drain tube into a hole made in a PVC pipe and my humidity went from 87% average to stable at 50% as set on the machine....Photos: show 87% at start and now 48% with dehumidifier running, the blue shows the inlet and output on the dehumidifier now when running... the dehumidifier sitting on a small wooden table about 3 feet from an outside wall with the 110 V input from the wall (15 foot cord I think) and the coiled 1/4 inch 19 foot tubing that runs into a hole I drilled into my 1 inch AC drain that runs outside and I shoved the tubing into the hole about 8 inches and installation took less that 30 minutes and now I have a 47% humidity in my crawls space with really no problem except needing to wash the reusable filter once a month to keep it clean. I am thrilled with this purchase and all (WITHOUT THE EXPENSE AND HASSLE OF TOTAL ENCAPSULATION THAT ALL THE MAJOR BASEMENT AND CRAWL SPACE EXPERTS WANT TO SELL YOU WHEN YOU LOOK ONLINE FOR HELP ..... JUST THOUGHT SOME OF YOU MAY WANT TO TRY THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU ENCAPSULATE AT $10 - 15,000.00 COST!! IT IS WORKING FOR MEUpdate 11-16-22. Still running fine and not constantly. Keeping humidity to 50% or below. All with NO ENCAPSULATION! Just covering vents (closing them) and setting dehumidifier to 50% and running water to outside via gravity.. happy with the purchase
