Works as described
Used this on a white 2024 Chevy Silverado. Did it about 6 weeks ago and it still looks great.

Another great Sonax product!
Most people think that this is the same as Iron X. The big difference is that Sonax has a slightly thicker gel-like consistency which allows it to cling to the paint surface better, instead of dripping down the side of the car. I recommend wiping off some of the excess water from the panel you're going to work on, spray on Sonax Fallout Cleaner and then spread it around the surface with your hand. Spraying the Sonax on to a wet car will just dilute the product. You'll see it going to work when spots turn purple. This is when I like to hit the surface with a clay bar using a bucket of wash soap as lubricant. Then I rinse the area, wash again with a soapy mitt and rinse again. You won't believe how smooth your paint will be. The majority of the contaminants on a car's paint are metallic and are usually missed by claying alone. This will strip any sealant or wax from your car's finish so you'll have to apply a fresh layer of protectant after. Use it and see all the metallic fallout that you were missing and were waxing over.

Removes Iron Deposits and Leaves a Smooth(er) Finish
Detailing is a side hobby of mine and this is the first time I've tried a chemical decontamination product. I decided to try it out on my brand new 2018 Windchill Pearl Camry (pearl white.) This stuff found all the iron deposits, as evidenced by the purple spots after a few minutes, and this was a brand new vehicle--no wax, never detailed--straight off the lot!The product rinses clean, but leaves a strong smell similar to the Sonax wheel cleaner. Do not apply and allow to dry. Also, I'd imagine this strips wax to a degree, so maybe use as part of a big detailing session where you are taking everything off and putting it all back on again. Over Christmas, Amazon had this in a gallon size for a great price/oz. Expect this bottle to do 3 midsize cars, maybe 4. I'll buy in bulk next time.

Works very well to remove iron but a bit pricey.
I used this on our white 2013 Volvo C30. The paint has had iron slag in it since we took delivery of it. I didn't notice it until the first wash. The car sat in an overload lot until we bought it. It looked as if it had never even been test driven and definitely never washed. It was parked near some railroad tracks so I think that's where all the iron came from.A few times before I tried washing and clay barring it with no success, albeit I was fairly gentle. I never waxed or polished the car because of the iron, I did use some spray wax though. Now with this stuff I did my usual foam wash, and light passes with the wash mitt. With the car still wet, I sprayed the fallout cleaner. Unfortunately there was only enough to do about 90% of the car (C30 is a fairly small car too). You need a lot to do the whole car because it really clings to wherever it is sprayed so you must spray it everywhere if the whole car has fallout. In a few minutes the purple started to show that it was working. I waited the 5-10 min as per instructions and rinsed off with water. The paint was obviously much much cleaner than just after the wash.I pulled the car in the garage and noticed about 85% of the slag is gone! The rest I got out with clay and quick detailer. I did many back and forth passes and used quite a bit of pressure on tough spots, but they came out and the clay always felt like it was sliding acrros the paint well lubed, so I doubt I added any scratches to the paint. The car really does look way better than it did new now! I'm really happy with this product, I just wish it came with more or was a little cheaper. If it were a little cheaper, I would've given it 5 stars.

Amazing results. No substitute.
The media could not be loaded. This stuff is absolutely amazing. I learned about this stuff from an auto detailer who told me how metal particle crap gets tossed into your paint when driving and embeds itself into the paint. Consider how a giant highway snow plow truck has carbide blades that get changed every few hours of use (i.e. they wear down due to grinding on the pavement). That crap along with other ferrous junk gets embedded into your paint surface. Look at my photos. I finally got smart and bought it by the gallon. Do you believe?

White Car with Rust Spots
After my first winter with a white car I was discouraged to see rust spots all over it. While on Youtube I found this product and it mentioned that it wasn't the car that had rusted but environmental toxins. I purchased a bottle and then another (I had a large SUV) and sprayed it on. It removed all the rust. It was amazing! I recently sold this vehicle and I have no doubt that the clean exterior was part of the reason why it sold quickly and for a decent price. I highly recommend this.

Not sure what to expect
9-25-16///So I used this product today, it did everything it said it was going to do as far as change colors and what not , I followed directions as they are labeled on the bottle, but when I got to the second step of use a sponge on the second layer, I noticed 30 to 40% of the rust spots still remained, at that point I got out my Clay, and used the Clay over the top of the fallout cleaner, and this removed all the rust spots for my white paint. I will update this post if the spots come back in the near future, because the Clay system by itself only lasted less than a week before the spots returned. I'm hoping this product neutralized the impurities in the paint to stop this from coming back so quickly.

I can’t believe it took me this long to find this!
I bought my pearl white 2015 GMC Yukon XL new in 2015, I’ve hated the color because of the rail dust in the paint. I’ve hated clay barring the paint even more. This stuff is amazing! I can’t believe it took me this long to find this product. I used a whole bottle on this small bus of a vehicle. It’s been a month since I’ve done it and it still looks great!PS we used some of this on our white granite kitchen sink to remove some rust spots and it also worked great! I’ll be buying more!!
