Hallmark Star Trek The Next Generation U.S.S. Enterprise Blinking Light Keepsake Ornament,Plastic

As a Star Trek fan, this lovely ornament just deserves a place in your tree. I mean, it is the enterprise D!!! It really put that extra smile on my face. (And of my relative’s)

I bought this as a gift for my husband (really for me too). We initially had it attached to our Christmas tree, but after Christmas we decided to string up some lights in our bedroom and attached this along with the Defiant ornament to them. These ornaments are holding up great, however the strings of lights they were attached to have already failed. This ornament and the "Defiant" one are still working just fine.If you gave someone that's a Trekkie I'd say add this to their gift bag if you need an idea.

I am an avid collector of the annually released Star Trek ship ornaments from Hallmark & my collection is nearly complete.One word of advice however, BEWARE buying the, from an internet seller!!!The quality control at the manufacturer is not reliable so many copies have parts that are seriously misaligned, crooked, etc.As such, I have had to open several ornaments and inspect them visually before buying the one copy out of sometimes a dozen that is built properly.The most notorious ones are Federation starship models (Enterprise, Voyager...) where one or both engine nacelles and/or saucer hull are often crooked. A case in point is the 1993 NCC-1701-D (Next Generation Enterprise) ornament I bought recently from an Amazon seller where the saucer section was "twisted" noticeably to one side (did not line up with the centerline of the ship).I got lucky buying the 2007 "Future USS Enterprise". That one has THREE engine pods (Yikes!). Fortunately, everything lined up properly.Stuff like the Borg Cube, the Romulan War Bird, USS Defiant, etc... are probably safer to buy online simply because they have fewer parts that need to be properly aligned with each other...Again, best to buy from your local Hallmark store, a flea market, or other venue where you can see what is being sold.

Really cool ship, it lights up in the front where the tractor beam dish goes and on the front warp nacelles. It also has a blinking yellow light on the top of the ship. My only con is that the lights on the front should be blue not red, but it's not that important.

I wanted this ornament when they came out in the early 90's but every store was out. This was a nice find. It does not light up with the LED style lights on the tree. Still a great find

I'm a huge Star Trek: TNG fan and this ornament looked so good on our tree. It was definitely worth the money.
