Loved playing this
After being gifted one of these games to try we throughly enjoyed playing it, the difficulty depends on sometimes thinking outside the box but the people who make it have put a lot of thought into them, we have brought eight different ones since, great value for money and many hours of fun

Brilliant, well-crafted game created by evil masterminds
As a couple we love the Thames and Kosmos escape games and have played quite a few. This one wasn't particularly easy so is not an ideal choice if its your first one. Considering it is essentially double the playing time compared to the standard Exit games it was very reasonably priced. Some of the puzzles gave you a real sense of achievement when you cracked them, too! You can only really play this once as you do cut out and fold some of the playing materials (some of the exit games you can get away without destroying game items but this isn't one of them). For us this was spot on for difficulty and took a couple of evenings with a natural break halfway through. Great way to pass the time, especially during lockdown or on winter evenings. Highly recommended.

Impossible.
Thought this would be a fun evening activity for me and my partner...maybe not. It killed nearly 5 hours yes but I underestimated how hard this would be. We have been to escape rooms quite a few times so I bought this title as it seemed the hardest. It was too hard. Like crazy. Even when it finished and we didnt succeed I read the solution and still couldnt understand what we were meant to do. Should have started easier for sure.

Beautifully designed and flawless puzzles. More please!
We have done all the Exit games so have been waiting for this one to come out and it wasn’t a disappointment. If you are new to Exit games this probably isn’t for you (try Abandoned Cabin). To get used to the format at the same time as lengthier tougher puzzles and a longer game wouldn’t make for a good first experience. But if you’ve done a couple already then grab this one. It was our favourite!Only tip is that we did need a break in the middle so think ahead how much time you have if you plan to do it all in one sitting. Not one to start at 8-9pm 😆

The Catacombs Of Horror: what an amazing way to spend an evening
We've seen a mixed bag of reviews for these Exit games, however, The Catacombs Of Horror made my fiance's lockdown birthday so special and gave us hours of fun, despite sometimes wanting to hit our heads against a wall. The two of us completed this game over 2 sessions with a total time of 220 minutes - longer than we'd like but we're happy with it as our first attempt of one of these fabulous games. Many of the riddles are so incredibly clever and we cannot wait to purchase our next! I'm already sad that we won't be able to experience this one all over again! Many thanks to Inka, Markus & Ralph for creating this!

Far far far too hard
Apart from the fact that there was a couple of bits missing- this game is just ridiculously hard. As a family of 4 pretty intelligent adults who have done about 20 escape rooms in person and play games like this fairly frequently- we literally used virtually every hint on every single clue. Some of the answers were so ridiculously obscure I’m baffled how anyone would ever get it. We gave up in the end because it became impossible to do certain bits without the missing parts and to be honest we didn’t find it that enjoyable anyway. I would say only buy this if you are seriously good at logic, codes, and above all extremely extremely patient.

Muy divertido para jugar con familia y amigos
En lo particular este juego es ideal para para 3 o 4 personas que disfruten de los puzle o escape rooms, la historia es divertida, tiene sus retos y sorpresas. Lo recomiendo bastante.

Fun, Challenging, Very Creative
I was a little nervous buying this because some of the reviews made it sound like it wouldn’t be fun or that it was not actually a mega-game but two totally separate games. Neither of these things were remotely true.My family loves the Exit games. We have played several together, including most of the 4-level games. It always amazes me that they are able to come up with such creative, different ideas for each game. One of these puzzles really impressed me with the creativity - it stumped us but I loved it anyway.Yes, the puzzles are difficult. The finale is really cool and we were able to solve it correctly. It is a little like Orient Express in that you only get one shot to get the final puzzle right. We used a few help cards in the earlier puzzles but there was nothing that “didn’t make sense” or that was “obscure” as some other reviewers are saying. If you don’t want this level of difficulty, there are plenty of much simpler Exit games that are a ton of fun. We played the Abandoned Roller Coaster with my in-laws who were first-timers and everyone had a blast.Don’t hesitate, get it now. It’s so much fun to have something like this to do during quarantine.

Unfortunately the second part was suddenly in dutch…
We love to do exit game and this 2 part adventure was intriguing. We started the first part, english like mentioned, but when we came to open the box for the second part we found the "notebook"… which was in dutch. First we werent sure if it was part of the game, but it definitely wasn't xD We ventured on with google translate, but couldn't solve the end then, which was fairly disappointing.

Single use!
I was a bit sceptical, being a one time play box, however it took my friend and myself 4 hours total to "beat" the game, for $15ea it was cheaper, longer and better than any local escape rooms.Hot tip - a few cyphers/ puzzles can only be solved with the rulebook, don't instantly discard it in the trash like we did 😅
